Or Hope Hicks. The American people have heard it. After 2 1/2 years of the fake media saying Trump was going down for conspiring with Russia, Mueller dashed their fevered dreams.

Because it was the only news Hicks was providing that day... it might have led to something... a good prosecutor needs to follow up witness testimony when it leads you to a different place...

A lot of garbage, but I agree with your first four words, so we'll always have that...

I was for Mueller before he gave his presser... and he made sense that day... he won't answer THE QUESTION everybody wants to ask him, so why bother...

Citing proper and constitutional OOJ by the Executive branch is not OOJ. The House Democrats can pound sand.

She gave them no information. Good for her! The slimy Democrats were leering and drooling and taking pictures of her. It got so bad that her lawyers had to tell Nadler to make them stop. I guess Democrat women look more like men...

How do you know if you don't ask the question? It's obvious you and Jerry are scared of the obvious answer which is in the Mueller Report....No Conspiracy....reasonable doubt on OOJ...hence why he punted and the DOJ, and OLC cleared the President. Sorry, you can't handle the results of the investigation.

What's also becoming increasingly clear is the DNC base is also no going to accept the results of the DOJ investigation into where the false accusations started.

Lead to what and she has already testified to prosecutors, Nadler and his committee are not prosecutors.

That's better, but Hicks or her lawyers didn't ONCE claim Executive privilege.... they were asked multiple times if they were and they said No..

Do you need an example from the transcript??

    upload_2019-6-24_16-55-1.png

This is a New and Improved Made Up Trump Executive Privilege called "We don't wanna" which WILL get laughed out of court...

The White House counsel did and her lawyer cited that through out, she would not testify to matters of internal deliberations which are protected from Congressional inquiry.

No... none of the 5 lawyers present cited Executive Privilege for anything in the interview and she did not and would not answer a single question ranging from 1/20/2017 (Noon) to 3/30/2018, regardless of what it was.... There's no privilege in the world that can completely block out 14+ months of somebody's employment.... as she will find out when this bullshit defense theory is shredded in court...

Oh GEEZ the WHITE HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL had announced she would not testify to such questioning on that basis and had advised her attorney's she was not allowed and HER LAWYERS refused her answering on THAT BASIS.

Congress has NO RIGHT nor and AUTHORITY to compel testimony to the Executive Branch internal deliberations, executive privilege is a constitutional right of separations of powers and has been recognized from the getgo by the SCOTUS. The President does not work for nor reports to the Congress except is what is supposed to be an occasional message about the state of the union which could be a slip of paper merely saying "It's Great".

No, it wasn't the basis of Executive Privilege, as you keep falsely claiming... it was on some made up thing seemingly called "absolute immunity"

    SNIP
Two White House lawyers, Michael Purpura and Patrick Philbin, objected to lawmakers’ and committee staffers’ questions every time the inquiry touched on Hicks’ service in the White House and during the presidential transition period, which pre-dates Trump’s presidency.

Purpura told Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) that the White House was not formally asserting executive privilege to block Hicks’ testimony; he only stated the White House’s view that Hicks “may not be compelled to speak about events that occurred during her service as a senior adviser to the president.”

It all amounts to the same basic thing, except the WH didn't claim EP (this time)

The White House legal counsel sent a letter to her lawyers and Nadler saying her testimony was privileged and would not be allowed, Her attorneys protected that privilege. It started with the subpoena's for documents and then their testimony. If your argument is hinging on a "formal" assertion I'm sure if the Democrats press it will short it coming but don't see them to press it they know it is being "informally" asserted.

My argument is based on a "formal" assertion, because it's a thing..... without it, you got nothing.... which is why Nadler and his team got them to confirm multiple times they aren't asserting that thing, just some other new form of privilege that NOBODY has ever heard of... Which I'm still calling "We don't wanna" until it gets a formal name when it's thrown out of court...

He and her attorney's got the letter from the White Legal Counsel, she and others on the White House will not respond to questions about internal protected deliberations, executive privilege.

And your wishing doesn't change the ACTUAL fact that the Dems won an 8.8 Million vote advantage in 2018.
