Florida Approves Bill Allowing Classroom Teachers To Be Armed

They are comprised of people. Taking away the business's constitutional rights is taking right away from the people who comprises the business. Because again, people make up the business.

That rational is consistent with the constitution. People have the right peaceably to assemble. A company is assemblance of people.

It is only when a company's greed harms our national security by making our people poorer and less free, as they do now, they should be struck down and disassembled. At that point their actions are not "peaceable". Not when they harm our country.

 

I don't see how that's relevant to my point.

Even if you manage to ban private firearm ownership somehow, schools will still require security measures like armed guards. Or do you think no guns mean no violence?

But you are not really against it either, not the way you are against having armed guards protect schools. So why such a radical difference? Why is using armed guards to protect money so much less offensive than using armed guards to protect children?

There is no Team USA. The States have always been deeply divided along various cultural, economic, and political grounds.

Why should teachers be prevented from arming themselves so they can protect themselves.

 

I taught for many years in inner-city Brooklyn. I might have shot one or two kids LOL
What would carrying a gun help me with? If a mass shooter comes in I would have to ask him to just wait a minute while I go and get my gun.

 

Those who feel that way can remain unarmed. Those who wish to be armed should do so.

 

I mean that if you remove the capacity to massacre, you will reduce the frequency of massacres. Thoughts and prayers don't cut it.

Children can be protected without arming more Americans.

Do you seriously reckon that 300 million guns in the hands of civilians will stop an American tyrant if he has the backing of the US Military?

This is not going to end well. Unless that teacher has that gun on their waist at all times, even in the restroom, another Parkland is inevitable.

If corporations are not treated as people, then the people cannot actually bring suit against them for various wrongdoings.

 

How about their dress codes? You have to spend your money to comply with them.

 

By counting and identifying the dead bodies at the end of the experiment.

 

Name one they have charged so far.

 

And in the states where the carrying of concealed firearms at facilities of learning is indeed legal, there have been no students murdered by educators who were legally carrying a firearm at the time.

If I had to be trained to carry a gun in my classroom I would never choose the profession of teaching. And neither would most intelligent people
