    Sadly, there is a lot of hate on both sides.

    The Left has the power to punish Dissidents -- fire and blacklist them by thousands. But both sides have severe flaws.

    One of the most important things in our country is freedom of speech and tolerance for different points of view. It is why I despise what tech giants Google and Twitter are doing. They should be open to everyone and not leaning left or right.

    Good luck with your new gas tax tomorrow. 5.6 cents a gallon, ouch. The illegals will profit well from it. :)

    THREAD LOCKED - Rule 3 - Flamebaiting

    I'm sorry to do this, but htis thread has been locked because it has devolved into flamebaiting and little else. The choices of the moderation staff are to issue a lot of warnings or close the thread down.

    Locking a thread may seem ironic when the subject has drifted to the subject of free speech, but the policy of this website is that everyobe is free to express any opinion they care to, no matter which side or faction they come from, as long as the expression of their opinions are free from insults or abuse of other posters. At that point, in order to ensure that all sides an issue are allowed the free expression of their ideas, posts will get deleted so that one viewpoint isn't shut down by brutish tactics.

    I would once again like to reiterate, ALL sides of any issue are allowed and encouraged to post on this site, as long as they do so in a manner consistent with the Forum Rules and Guidelines. The staff has never and will never do anything to discourage anybodies right to express their opinions as long as those opinions are expressed within the framework of the rules.
