Broken families = dependence on government and dysfunctional children.

Dysfunctional children = more crime, which justifies even more government control.

More government control and cracking down = race baiters having more issues and evidence to demagogue on.

Dude.. I linked a bunch of times that the banks had to pay fines for applying racist policies at black people. Fines that went over 300 million bucks... for their apartheid ways spanning just a couple of years. They probably were at it for decades. Even the US government financially penalized black people, and payed over a billion in damages. OVER A BILLION!

And so for living within your means,.... them means are less when black, because of the financial system has been racist for decades and the US government was part of it too. White privilege is real... and is at every turn, buddy.

You're making it all up. If you are sure you will lose the case, than you might as well settle. In such a case it does mean you don't need to pay millions in wages of your fancy lawyers for a case they can't win. And when a bank pays over 300 million in fines,.. it does mean how guilty they are. And it's being guilty as hell.

You don't have to 'care' about it. It's reality. Professional, educated, well presented, well spoken, black folk have never really had any issues with this stuff. Which demonstrates very well that even then, it wasn't necessarily about race .. it was about the individual. If you present as a safe bet for the bank, your money is as green as anyone else's.

She didn't say "poor Americans" or "underprivileged" Americans-she said african Americans.

Because they're the ones who may have to pay in case your kids screw up. They don't know your kids. The fact that they have the same driving record doesn't mean they drive equally and with the same level of concern for safety. All they have to go on is data. They set their rates based on data and facts.

If group A is likely to cost the insurance company more money than group B .....why on earth would they charge the same rates to both groups?

This is no different than someone's rates being higher because they've been in a few accidents.

Under Harris' proposal, homebuyers who rent or live in historically redlined communities can apply for a federal grant of up to $25,000 to assist with down payments or closing costs. Harris' campaign estimates that this will help up to 4 million families.
