Cuomo Signs Bill Allowing Congress to Get Trump State Tax Returns

He said that before he was even a candidate for President and obviously changed his mind. It's not important.

Yes, there was a meeting in Trump Tower but so what? Why is that important? He fired Comey on recommendation from Acting AG Rosenstein and Comey deserved it. As we now know Trump had nothing to do with any Russians. What could Mueller possibly add to his two year investigation that hasn't been reported?

What has to be asked is how this Witch Hunt began, and the FBI's involvement - including James Comey and his staff.

Will some resident Democrat tell me what the probable cause is of this request? If not it is a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment. I saw some LW clown say last night that Cuomo's bill wasn't directed specifically at Trump, then heard Cuomo do nothing but talk about Trump at the signing press conference. These people are either stupid or liars, take your pick.

 

By definition you're correct. No one needs to comply with tradition no matter how many times they've promised they would if elected.

While tax returns show a great many things, which no can legally see other than a specific committee IF it even gets that far, and regardless of the drooling I've seen, I highly doubt there is a line on any of his returns that reads 'Payoffs and Bribes' 1M, or under the table payments, $255K. I've yet to figure out what they expect to find, and believe they don't expect to find anything... it's a humiliation maneuver, to try and prove they can, even though Trumps feels it's not necessary.

And it is not required. Personally, I really don't care how his tax returns read, Id love to see ALL politician's tax returns made public, the ones who go in with modest wealth, and walk out billionaires....
