Bills she has actually sponsored that have passed are quite unremarkable. She does have a Gun Grab bill in the works, H.R. 8, the so-called “Universal Background Checks” that will pass the House. It is so insane, it would most certainly be judged unconstitutional with or without your 2nd Amendment Right. It is guaranteed to be dead on arrival in the Senate.

It's a technicality. Any type of warrant signed by a judge is valid. Pelosi was grandstanding. She just thought she was being smart to parrot what an immigration lawyer told her. These are Final deportation orders that have already been adjudicated. That means, no more appeals, no more warrants needed. It's grab em and bag em time.

 

Inmates lose their freedom and most of their Constitutional Rights as well. They do have the right to be free under the 8th Amendment and do retain certain civil rights, not much else.

Then what's the problem of sending these people back? They have to follow the laws and why are we paying our taxes for if you can just break any law you like. If an american citizen broke a law, they would be in jail. Why are illegals different?

If we were only talking about adults without families, I might agree with you. You come here, you take your chances.

I've taught for 20 years at a school district that services very low income students, so I routinely have kids who are either here illegally, or are legal, but their parents are illegals. So when you ask what the problem with sending people here illegally back to whatever country they're from you're either going to split up families and/or uproot kids who have been living here for years. I think that's just morally indefensible when there's a sensible alternative: give the people here illegally some quasi-citizenship or a "path" to citizenship and tighten up the borders.

That's what the Dems wanted last year: Give us DACA and here's $20 billion for the border. Trump initially agreed, but then walked away from the deal.

Because a lot of them are kids who were brought here with no say in the matter. A two year old who was brought here illegally by her parents is not a criminal.

 

Disagree, they deserve the same consequences as the parents.

 

Then ICE should break down the door as Law Enforcement does when attempting g to arrest a U.S. citizen

 

You can't deport a kid who is here legally.
