You'd have to be out of the car a while for that to matter wouldn't you?

The sun is pretty strong here, in fact it's very strong. Plus the people here are more trusting than those in the coastal cities.

Like I said, I wouldn't do it, but the locals here do.

I never once left my children in car. Not even to go run in and get pizza.

Same with me. What does that say about our trust in our fellow man? Like I said earlier, the people here are of Mexican heritage and customs and they have more faith in people than we do. Go figure.

It just means you are diligent as a parent. The chances are slim anything is going to happen, but why leave your kids to chance?

So....you got 3 toddlers to put into a car. What do you do with the other 2 while you are putting one of them in the car? After you get them all buckled in, you see that you forgot your wallet/purse in the house. Do you get the kids out of the car and take them back into the house while you retrieve your wallet/purse?

In front of my house? Yeah I may lock the doors and take the 30 seconds it takes to run inside and grab my wallet. In a public place? They are all getting out of that car.

    Hang on! Hang on!

The mother left three children the oldest of whom was 5 alone in a car with the motor running whilst she visited the baby daddy?

I read where the couple are being interviewed by the police and i am betting they will now be under watch by the department of child health

In the city of brotherly love, why can’t the people in the city trust the bruthas they love? I mean, the demographics of the city just scream everyone is safe because, well, you know, they’re all victims and not criminals.

But you knew this and are now blaming the parents because they should NOT have trusted the people in Philly. It seems you assume criminal behavior in lib cities rather than civil and law abiding behavior in liberal cities. Why?

Doesn’t it suck that in some parts of this country people can trust their neighbors and in other parts they can’t? Guess what they have in common? But it seems the leftists on this board believe a physical way of separating their families from danger, either by locking the doors or keeping their kids out of harm’s way, is safer than sensors and cameras. Now imagine that.

I think he could have let up on some of the blows at the end but he is totally within his right. He feared for the life of his family.

We do not do it here and our cities a hell of a lot safer than yours! I am not just talking criminal behaviour the list of child accidents in cars is endless and they are all associated with some parent saying “but I was only going to be a couple of minutes”

"“He fled on foot about a half a block. And the boyfriend caught up to him and there was some sort of physical struggle that ensued,” Mr Small said."

I would think charges will be pressed, they were not in danger at this point, it was an execution

I had done it when below zero and running into pay for gas, but always locked door behind me, course now most gas stations can pay by credit\debt card so not the same as back then, plus I grew up in a small town with very little crime

They feel their anecdotes trump reality.

And they want to talk to your manager.
