Well, that’s at least an original attempt to parse and deflect! (I think).

Of course, while Trump’s race baiting has often been generalized, and occasionally focused on individuals, each of the examples you cite are one timers or personal attacks against individuals.

It is typical of Trump’s vulgarity that he engages in public personal attacks, thus lowering himself and his office. Real leaders float above these silly cable tv news things.

But Trump’s racism has been on open display since he anointed himself king of the birther eight years ago.

You just can’t let facts stand for themselves. My post was a very direct response to a false claim that Trump only attacks non whites. Nothing more.

If you’ll pay attention to my posts you’ll see I have no motive to parse or deflect. I don’t care what you think of Trump. He’s not who I wanted for president either. You’re vision is so clouded on this issue you completely missed that my post was a criticism of Trump.

Try looking at the content of people’s statements independently of this issue. As I’ve stated earlier, running around labeling everyone a racist is counterproductive if a better society is our goal.

Just to make it clear, I do not approve of the way Trump tweets, and singles out individuals for criticisms. I don't like how he makes it personal, it's just not presidential, IMHO.

I also don't like how too many people in our nation, especially politicians and the news media, toss around the phrase racist, Nazi, fascist, etc... at the drop of a hat. Just because a person makes a comment criticizing another person does not make them a racist, just because they don't have the same skin color or ancestral heritage as the person they are critical of.

 

Racist, nazi, etc doesnt mean anything anymore. All it means is that the accuser has run out of good arguments, or are too stupid to have any in the first place.

That is the point (in red)! He saw black people and immediately grouped them all together and said that they should all go home = racism! He said it to them because they are not white. Other white democrats have said exactly the same as these black democrats but were not told to go back home.

 

When Trump starts rejecting the people of color who support him, then I'll believe he's a racist, because that's what a real racist would do.
