Not a SINGLE MILE OF NEW BORDER WALL since Dirty Donald took office.

The Washington Examiner has an article pointing out that since Dirty Donald took office some 30 plus months ago we have not built one single mile of new border wall.We spent $341 million in 2017 on replacement of existing inefficient or decaying border wall.We budgeted and spent $1.375 Billion in 2018 again for replacement and infilling of previously built border wall.U.S.Customs and Border Protection reported they built 51 miles of steel bollard fence to replace outdated fencing and infill fencing where there was voids.If this is typical of how frequently sections will have to be repaired or replaced we are in a world of hurt and an ever spiraling fence budget.The article is available today on Drudge Report.

A good sturdy steel wall should last several decades with no major repairs except for painting. Put up cheap walls or cheap fences and they have to be frequently repaired or replaced.

 

This should not come as a surprise to any one. MSM has been reporting all along that trump was doing nothing more than telling more lies when he stated the progress on his wall was coming along well. He has not received one dollar for his wall but his followers are so blind to the truth that they believe whatever trump tells them. They don't seem to have the mental capacity to fact check anything trump says.

 

The replacements are for the wall that illegals can scale or cut through easily. Of course the democrats sue then crow that no new walls are built but it is because of them that there are none so...

Yep, democrats are making sure there are no funds for any new wall. They own the border situation and it is very apparent to anyone with a brain.

I just don't understand why democrats won't be honest and tell us the truth why they want open borders? If you want unlimited illegal aliens here just say so already.

 

The Democrats should instead of making it all political try to help do something about the crisis they have been denying for months. The Republicans control the Executive and the Senate, Democrats get out of the way and stop obstructing anything getting done.
