Never heard of a child getting into a car and accidentally moving it. Similarly for guns. It could also happen accidentally. Very good comparison.

Parents already get charged for children driving. So this law is the same for guns and thus constitutional

Wouldn't have stopped Cruz from passing a background check despite numerous crimes that Obama, Holder and Arne Duncan ensured were never reported. Their carrot stick policy was so strong the Sheriff didn't go into the school to stop the massacre for fear the neighborhood would lose millions of Obama bucks if a school age criminal was confronted and/or arrested. Failing to admit the facts of school shootings will lead to unconstitutional solutions that solve no problems.

Right now in my home there are 8 people. 3 foster children, one of which is autistic. 2 adopted siblings, one of which is an adult. My biological son, myself, and my wife. Two of the foster children will likely be reunited with family by the end of the month.

My family has been threatened multiple times. Two of the threats were serious and credible. The drug addicted, gang affiliated, drunks who lose their children are not often happy that their children end up in foster care. Do I lose my second amendment rights because I chose to care for these children in need? What other rights do I lose? Can I no longer practice free speech? Do I lose a right to due process? What else do you want to take away from me?

Violence is funny? 33 people were killed in the incident I mentioned. Is that hilarious?

Your policy is sophomoric. It's typical of the tyrannical left who think they have the ability to control every aspect of society, and who demand the power to exercise that control. Their god complex let's them believe they know all choices and see all outcomes. But they aren't gods and they can't predict all the choices and the outcomes. The result of their engineering is always more suffering that they never saw coming.

You want to usurp my second amendment right? The result will be that you've endangered foster children.

So the answer to that is to take guns away from people who have children who haven’t shot themselves or others?

The strategy is to oversimplify the problem, address the simplified fantasy, and act shocked when some new disaster occurs so that you can portray the disaster as totally unrelated.

See: every attempt at progressive social engineering ever.

So how do we determine who is a risk? Show me proof that just because someone is 3 years old, that they are a risk.

Anyways. This is pointless as this entire premise is moronic and, if anything, will increase violence.

You know... There would be so much less risk in the world if we just eliminated all the people.

    That's the endlosung der sozialistfrage.

In WA and a good many other states, the state constitution defines the elected County Sheriff as 'the Chief Law Enforcement Official' within their jurisdiction. They're also lawfully empowered to deputize citizens and raise armed posses. In Klittitat County, for example, the Sheriff has publicly vowed to bring his 120 volunteer posse (which he currently uses for SAR, event security, traffic control, etc, saving his small rural county over $200K since his election) to stand with any of his constituents (along with his career deputies) who are targetted by these 'unconstitutional' (his word) laws.

Who would you suggest go and 'jail' him for protecting his constituents from a law they elected him to oppose?

I suggest we bus in some college-aged black-clad vigilante LARPers, none of which meet the standard of qualified firearm ownership.

Its hard enough to get those posers to leave their protected enclaves in Portland and Seattle where the cops are ordered to protect them. I don't think even Soros has enough money to get them to go somewhere like Klickitat...

    You're joking, right?

You're using a movie as an example?

Give me a real life incident.
