VANCOUVER — A B.C. Human Rights Tribunal hearing devolved into repeated outbursts and name-calling this week as it considered a transgender woman’s complaint that a home-based salon discriminated against her by denying her a Brazilian wax.

At one point, the complainant compared the business owner to a neo-Nazi. The lawyer for the business owner accused the complainant of engaging in “half-truths and fabrications.” Tribunal adjudicator Devyn Cousineau frequently had to interject to maintain decorum and to keep the hearing from careening off course.

A transgender woman has claimed that more than a dozen salons refused her service because of her gender identity, including at least one that would not provide her with a Brazilian wax job after making the assumption that she has male genitalia. But, says Jessica Yaniv, of Vancouver, B.C., in Canada, her human rights complaint goes beyond the simple issue of waxing and physical anatomy.

“I’ve been refused for manicures, pedicures, head massages, facials…an arm waxing,” Yaniv, 32, tells Yahoo Lifestyle, outlining responses that range from insults to questions about her mental stability. “It’s like, where does this end? Everyone thinks this is about waxing and genitals, and it isn’t true.”

If this world was to ever find out just a small amount of what sexually diverse (gay) people are here to do on this planet, there would never be one single wisecrack or hurtful remark made ever again. Instead there would be great respect! People who speak disrespectful things about people of this orientation ... enact judgment, and do so from a place of unenlightenment, insecurity, ego and socially induced prejudice. Some may use mistranslated scriptures taught to them, not by the Holy Spirit ... but by fear-filled human beings. Many will choose to sustain a Divinely unsupported satanic hate-based rage against these children of God, rather than using Love to bring understanding and healing between both peoples. Christ said, THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT IS THAT WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! When people sling condemnation, judgment and bitterness at others, they are not practicing the great commandment. Special web-only edition of what has become a three part video interview with transgender identified male Jenn Smith, whom many of you will know is a very vocal local opponent of what he calls the anti-democratic “trans agenda.” Jenn’s views, as a transgender person, might be considered offensive to the transgender community. We are now at a point where even transgender people themselves are not allowed to say anything that goes against the radical LGBTQ activist trans narrative, which is being pushed aggressively into our schools by persons such as Glen Hansman (via his perch on top of the BC Teachers Federation, although he is now voted out) and our Education Minister Rob Fleming. Fear of offending the protest-prone LGBTQ bullies has made free speech today almost impossible. The LGBTQ community is thus dictating to the community what it can or cannot say. This is insanity, this is offensive and discriminatory, and it is not a problem unique to Canada, it is happening everywhere in the Western world all at once.

It is time to begin standing up for our right to speak what we believe, and present the views of people such as Jenn that hold views which align with our own. A few months ago I wrote about a Canadian transwoman named Jessica Yaniv who filed more than a dozen human rights complaints on the grounds that female beauticians who offered “Brazillian” waxing services refused to wax her (male) genitalia. Eventually, several of Yaniv’s complaints made it to the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. Today, the group which defended five of those beauticians announced it had won the case:
