Who's "we"? American "culture" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people many of whom probably have different perspectives than yours but they have a vote which is equal to yours because they are American citizens just like you.

So how are you going to feel when people of color become the majority and decide they want to "moderate" the number of white people they are going to allow in?

Just FYI, I'm not particularly advocating for that because I personally could care less about now much melanin is in anybody's DNA. My guess is we are going to end up a predominantly mixed-race country anyway because that's the way things seem to be going right now.

 

Nationalism here is just people in the USA who still believe this is the best country.

Since somewhere around half of white people still believe this is the best country, I guess it is OKAY for those against nationalism TO BE RACIST against whites and call it white nationalism. Anyway, that is how it is going.

 

Nationalism is not about "love of country". Nationalism is about trying to redefine your country including who you think belongs.

 

That is incorrect. Nationalism is the endeavor to maintain national autonomy rather than accept other countries authority or a one world government's authority.

White Nationalism is the movement to retain equal rights for white people. It is blowback for the creation of protected classes that now have more than equal rights.

I'm not convinced that's 100% true of some of them. Of them of whom it is true, I imagine they will carefully consider their vote next time because: A) He's done practically nothing for them and B) They might think twice about wanting to be associated with his hateful and divisive rhetoric now that morons have decided to shoot at children (many US citizens) purely based on the color of their skin and who now feel they are walking around with targets on their backs.

At least that would be my hope.

Texas,New Mexico and parts of Louisiana were settled and populated by Spanish speaking Mexicans for 300 years before they allowed Moses Austin to move there in the 1800's and the Mexican American war did not take place until the 1840's when these adreas were then opened up to Europeans other than Spanish.Mexicans were there long before we were.
