Yeah there was a mass shooting of seven in Chicago the same weekend as the Dayton Antifa shooting and the El Paso envirowacko shooting and the reaction was "meh". Couldn't be used against Trump so it didn't happen.
True, but at least the ones who live through it would not have to steal their drugs. Rarely do you find a drunk or a cigarette smoker who breaks into houses or mugs people for a drink or a smoke. Also, with the hundreds of billions saved on enforcement, court costs, prosecutors, judges, public defenders, prison guards etc., we could spend it on educating kids and rehabilitation centers for users who want out.
Just like yer terminal flatulence is from Trump's inciting of riots with his inappropriate actions, deeds and words defaming humans?
You have it backwards. Addicts are robbing and killing out of desperation because of the laws. They then use the stolen money to buy drugs from criminals who gain control over the neighborhoods. These drug dealers sell to children and will shoot to kill. Lets not pretend that people emerge from prison as productive members of society. If someone wants to get high, let them give their money to a legitimate business that doesn't sell to children or turn them into gang members. The drug laws are only good for the pharm industry and the criminals.
A total of 9 officers are receiving treatment in local hospitals six fround being shot and 3 from injuries received in the line of duty.Four women in Muslim attire were removed from one of the buildings in the line of fire who were very complimentary of the police from getting them away from the line of fire. The incident has thrown parts of the city into chaos.
From what I read about that city, it was already in chaos. (although it's probably considered racist to point that out)
Ok, let's gets down to the good stuff. I've always felt that attempted murder should be eliminated from the books. If a thug shoots at a cop, a store clerk, his ex wife, or anyone else, then the intent was to murder that person and the thought police on this board should agree with me completely on that. We should not hand out lesser sentences because a guy tried to kill someone and failed, that's insane. Too many things are in play which make the difference between life and death when it comes to murdering someone it could be the ambulance had to fight through traffic and was slow getting to you, it could be the doctor who saw you wasn't up to snuff on your injuries, etc. In other words, it could be a matter of bad luck if you die, or good luck if you live and a thug shouldn't be let off the hook because your luck was good that day. So in my book everyone and anyone attempting a murder is guilty of a murder and I believe in the death sentence.
Another "Mass Shooting" (with no one killed) to "pad the stats". Glad to hear that all of the officers are still alive.
And drugs..it’s amazing that we have prohibitions on drugs, yet criminals still get them...I’m curious how they do that with very tight drug laws. I wonder if we put a prohibition on guns what would happen with those criminals as well?
Maybe they could decriminalize or legalize and regulate them just like booze.....But who would the cops play with?
They were evidently not expecting what happened. However, these guys who go after felony warrants do this day in and day out and it’s a very dangerous job. Without knowing the details, it’s hard to say. At least they didn’t arrest a guy who was not wanted for going into his own house like those imbeciles in Boston or break into the wrong apartment and kill the occupant like the moron in Texas.
Nearly all gang violence is with illegal purchased hand guns. Bull.. Drug dealers are life destroyers. I am very close to suggesting they be shot on sight. If you are willing to kill to save your criminal enterprise society has no use for you.
