Allies to Joe Biden have been floating the idea of altering the former vice president's schedule in an effort to reduce the gaffes he has made in recent days.

The allies, growing increasingly nervous about Biden's verbal flubs, have said it's an approach that's been suggested to campaign officials on the heels of the former vice president's stumbles.

Biden has a tendency to make the blunders late in the day, his allies say, particularly after a long swing on the road, like he had last week in Iowa. They say something needs to be done to give the candidate more down time as the campaign intensifies in the fall.

This is like Hillary's 2016 campaign all over again.

The more coverage she got, the less people liked her.

And now Joes own allies are suggesting he be seen on the campaign trail less often.

If he's too tired by the end of the day and begins to make gaffes, how would he fare against Trump?

Sorry Joe, the presidency is a 24/7 job, you take down time when you can, not when you need to.

    Sounds like a good strategy.

    The RW should be overjoyed.

It gives the Internet Trolls who follow him around (with cameras) 24/7 a bit of a rest.

You guys can circle jerk each other all you want to over how badly the Dems underestimated Trump's appeal.

Rest assured, though, that it was a lesson learned. And that mistake will not be repeated.

Biden will not be the nominee.

    There were no lessons learned.

Dems seem determined to lose again.

Keep telling yourself that and keep your eye on the ball that is the Biden campaign. No, really, keep thinking that. Just because MSNBC is Biden's apologist network, and the right wing believes that MSNBC has their finger on the pulse of Democrat voters, doesn't make it so.

In fact, the New York Times had to publish two interactive maps showing grassroots donors to each of the Democratic campaigns. Why two? Because the first one was so overwhelmingly dominated by Bernie Sanders that they had to release a second map that completely eliminated Sanders' grassroots donors.

You're a smart guy, right? Check out Biden's stats on the map.

I say again, Biden will not be the nominee.

We elected Trump. After that, nothing is impossible. I think you are forgetting just how many similarities there were (or are) between Sanders and Trump.

Millions of Americans voted for Trump because Sanders wasn't the nominee.

Who cares? No one I know.

He will just be another one to bite the dust, one by one. So far 2 down. What is it 20 or 21 to go?

Ask Bernie. It was funny how he rolled over and took it like a good boy. Think they will rig it again?

Or maybe it was a protest vote since they rigged it. What makes you think they would now do a 180?

A Lot of Bernie Dems also stayed home or voted 3rd Party (in effect, handing the election to Trump).

I believe that certain elements within the DNC will try. I do not believe they will be successful this time around.

    True.

But, in any event, EVERYBODY who wants to defeat Trump MUST vote for the Dem. Nominee.

Whether that Nominee is Biden, Harris, Warren, Bigfoot, or The Man in the Moon.

Despite what gets posted here on PF, there are ALOT of disappointed Trump voters out there. Yes, they were willing to give him a chance. No, their lives have not been magically transformed.

They were willing to vote for Sanders on the Dem ticket. Many of them will vote for Sanders if he is the nominee.
