    :applause:

The difference is of course that if they went to Israel they'd be protected and come back alive.

If Jews go to visit an arab/moslem country there wouldn't be enough left of them to be buried.

Like Israel doesn't have enough extremist muslim clerics to deal with already. Both of these anti-semitic congresswomen have diarrhea of the mouth, and no doubt will make spectacles of themselves if given the opportunity. Radicalization, and rationalization of terrorism is their trademark on social media / MSM. I'm actually surprised Omar wasn't barred from re-entering the US after she left to visit Africa. I thought US extreme vetting included social media content.

    pretty sad on Trump's part

Trump's game plan is to get Isreal to attack these Americans and if they speak out against the attack, Trump will call them anti-Israel

will they take the bait, or rise above it

My personal perspective is you don't fight hatred with hatred. These ladies personal ideologies are not much different from the "white supremacists" that so many have screamed about here on these forums. Hatred is hatred! Their voices have demonstrated just that. Are they truly a threat to Israel? In some ways, yes. Their presence can incite uproar, riots, and possibly war! I think Israel did the right thing.

Rise above it? Their words have NOTHING to do with Trump. They had these views long before Trump was president and they’re total antisemites. Hateful ignorant women.

And Talib is being allowed in now, for her mother. You see Israel actually shows empathy unlike their neighbors who strap bombs to children or randomly lob rockets into neighborhoods from the roofs of schools and hospitals.

Hateful because you don't understand him and hate him. Ignorant because he doesn't share your ideology.

Israel didn’t do anything because Trump wrote on Twitter. Good god man. So should we allow people, vocal foreign politicians, into our country that say over and over they want it dissolved or it shouldn’t exist? Don’t think we have any obligation to host people who hate us.

They have existing laws: If you support BDS you don't get to come to Israel. They have the right to set their own laws on entry, they're a sovereign nation.
There's no exception in the law for "but you're a congresscritter on the foreign affairs committee who thinks she's an ambassador or something". The foreign affairs committee is there to review the actions of the executive, not go over and **** with foreign policy.

Trump doesn’t have to do anything. They already ARE anti-Israel. Now it looks like Tlaib wrote a heartfelt letter to an Israeli interior minister saying that she really wants to see her 90 something grandmother and she promised that she wouldn't say anything against Israel. So Israel said that she could come for humanitarian reasons, and now Tlaib is calling Israel names and says that she isn't coming, which means she threw her granny under the bus. Suddenly she doesn't care about Granny. Omar and Tlaib really have a lot of mental issues...

Not saying they dont have the right... they obviously do..

Just a bad optical look... if the 2 women come over and say good things about Israel, it's good for Israel... if they say bad things, its neutral for Israel..

Banning them, it's only bad for Israel

    Losing!!

    Yup!

OUCH: David Harsanyi: Israel Has Every Right To Block Rashida Tlaib And Ilhan Omar.

“In 2012, the Obama administration denied a visa to Michael Ben-Ari, a member of the hard-right Israeli Kach party [sic: At that point, Ben-Ari was a member of the more moderate National Union party]. Ben-Ari is no more radical than Tlaib or Omar. I don’t remember widespread angst about the state of American democracy. Surely we were secure enough in our beliefs to handle his presence, right?”

    Yeah?

    And, So What?

Israel can do whatever they want, and nobody can force them to let those women in.

    End of story.

    Exactly.

And, obviously, Israel has every right to ban the women (as long as they don't care about the blowback).

The Real Reasons Israel Barred Reps Omar And Tlaib (It Wasn’t Trump).

    Vile Haters

In 2017 the Knesset passed an anti-BDS law that blocks foreign BDS activists from gaining entry to Israel as the BDS movement is not only anti-Semitic but calls for the destruction of the Jewish State of Israel.

Note: If anyone needs a refresher on BDS and why it is anti-Semitic, it’s explained in this article.

“The state of Israel respects the American Congress as part of the close alliance between the two countries. But it is inconceivable that Israel would be expected to let into the country those who wish to hurt it, including by means of the visit itself,

The Israeli position was made when the government saw the Omar/Tlaib trip itinerary. Their trip schedule made it clear they would be spending their entire trip in Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem and was intended to provoke hatred of the Jewish State and advance their BDS agenda.

Per Israel’s Labor Minister, the visitation plan they prepared was entirely aimed at provocation and incitement against the State of Israel, and not to study the State of Israel’s activities. In other words, they weren’t coming to Israel to investigate what was happening there, they weren’t even going to visit Israel (only the disputed territories). They were coming to Israel for a big anti-Israel PR event, and to push the BDS call for the destruction of the Jewish State.

The sponsor of Reps Omar and Tlaib’s trip was an organization called Miftah, which once claimed that “Jews use the blood of Christians in Jewish Passover.” They were also meeting with the group Defense for Children International a group tied to PFLP, a socialist terrorist group responsible for the deaths of over a hundred innocents.

Interestingly the action was not without precedent. In 2012, Obama's US State Department banned Israeli Knesset member Michel Ben Ari from coming into the US and to launch a collaborative project between the Knesset and Congress.
