AGAIN....Taking away American's 2nd amendment rights to defend themselves and their families would NOT stop criminals from having them. It'd just turn them into sitting ducks or lambs to the slaughter by guys like this.

A civil war is brewing and the possibility of that on the horizon gets stronger every day. God help us if democrats who are responsible for the ever growing chaos aren't voted out of office.

At any rate when it comes to a head, I truly believe given the fact bad guys will always be armed to the hilt, bringing anything less than a semi auto rifle to the fight would be akin to wielding a butter knife...might as well give up and not even bother.

Is the NRA sprinting to court to defend the shooter's right to bear arms?

No, but they're always defending the rights of average citizens to have them to help level the playing field though. What don't you get about criminals will always have access to them?

Given the fact for all intents and purposes that southern border will remain open if the democrats keep getting their way, stripping the average law abiding citizen of their right to defend themselves while weapons and drugs keep pouring in, will turn the US into a war zone of catatonic drug induced zombies robbing and killing people to supply their habits.

    And we're almost already there.

No, the NRA doesn't support the right of convicted felons to own or possess firearms.

I just don't understand, why, when there are laws that forbid convicted felons from owning firearms that they do! How is this possible? I thought there was a law that would fix all this!

I wish there were laws about criminals owning guns....

    Oh wait, there are.

I wish there were laws against killing innocent people with guns....

    Oh wait, there are.

Nevermind. I guess the obvious answer is "more laws".

Sure just like the laws about drugs, let us make them draconian in nature and punish people the rest of their lives and ruin their ability to earn a living to make sure they say no, Mkay...

We could ban guns the same way we banned most drugs. I'm sure it would work just as well.

ROFL. So are you arguing for more lenient laws for guns?

What an odd comparison you've made here.

But now that you've brought it up ---- just as an underground drug market has developed in response to our laws against drugs ---- what do you think would happen if we made gun laws even more restrictive? Do you think guns would vanish, or do you think an underground market would develop for guns, just like exists for drugs? Based on your criticism of the "war on drugs", does this mean you would also oppose a "war on guns"?

Oh yes. More crack and heroin addicts on the streets. Nothing could possibly go wrong there.

The thread isn't about California but...because of all of the gun laws in California, California is now #1 for gun trafficking and the gun blackmarket on the streets of California has quadrupled in less than a decade.

Criminals will travel across the country to buy guns on the streets in California that cost less and with no BS paper work and background checks.

The Democrats in Sacramento have created a new industry in California.
It's the only industry that they helped to create in California.

The gun trafficking business is the only business in California that California is business friendly with.

More gun control/laws will stop criminals from getting guns folks. Don't you know that? Gun control in America is a joke and will not ever work.

So since you want the drug war to stop, does that mean you want to legalize heroin or enforce our laws?

This is a health issue not a criminal issue do we throw people in jail for drinking booze in their homes?

Okay, your opinion is the drug war is a health issue. Again, do we legalize heroin or enforce the laws?

No need, the ACLU and Black Lives Matter should be there first.

I would want current gun laws to be enforced. The Philly shooter had already been caught on numerous occasions with guns illegally (as he was a convicted felon, he was not allowed to possess guns).

"Alleged Philly cop shooter’s long rap sheet includes illegal possession of firearms"

"illegal possession of firearms" <-- proof the second is not 100% - it's not the same as free speach

owning a gun is a privalage that can be revoked, rather then a right
