Haha thanks. Yes I saw all that but you know what its ok, technically I am theorizing about a conspiracy which isn't always a silly thing to do. For years the common attitude on the subject of government-citizen spying was that only tin foil hatters believed it was taking place. Now we know the government records basically every phone call, catalogs almost every email, copies nearly every bit of information that tech giants obtain, and more. Sometimes writing something off as a conspiracy theory is preferable to accepting the terrifying truth.

Hey no worries. Just ponder for a moment why this alleged impending recession (technically a global recession as its being foretold) were to be blamed on the US which strengthens its position through trade against nations (some not all) who weaken themselves at the very same game. Why are these nations, such as ones where investor confidence is currently falling, not to blame when their approaches to governing create policy that often stifles said confidence? Why instead are we being prepared to lay the blame at Pres Trump's feet? The world's economy is no so fragile a thing that it falls to pieces over aggressive positioning and yet the news is a buzz with doomsday predictions that don't add up.

So what I'm saying is maybe there's an orchestrated apocalypse taking place. Take the precepts of socialism and wealth redistribution and the late stage goals therein, mix in the likes of Soros, Omidyar, Steyer, Bloomberg, and the various other lefty billionaire architects of global chaos, and then add a dash of public panic to bring the bull. These people operate on levels we cant even fully appreciate. I'm not saying its happening, I'm saying its possible. Can any of you honestly tell me its not?

I am not, and neither is the Author of the link in the OP. I am stating a reasonable conclusion which is available. The economy tanks, so does Trump politically as HE was the bloke who was gonna Make America Great Again, remember?

Which market is that? The DJIA is at the same level as 19 months ago. Other economic measures are on the same rate as have been for a decade

I hope the internet crashes and you are forced to get a job in the economy that you hope crashes.

    "TRADE WARS ARE GOOD,
    AND EASY TO WIN!"

"This trade war is lost. The only question is when do we surrender and how do we admit defeat.
Again, I don’t think we’re going to get any kind of deal...
This is going to be the inflationary recession, there’s no way out and it’s a political disaster for Trump because
the recession is going to start before he finishes this term, which means he won’t have a second term."

Euro Pacific Capital’s Peter Schiff explaining to Fox Business how he sees this turbulent market ultimately playing out.

Will Trump be indicted when he can no longer hide behind the immunity his office provides?

There sure are a lot of people in this thread that seem to want the economy to crash just so that Trump is not re-elected.

    Nope.

But Bill Maher and his fellow "progressives" are praying for one...

Counter to your thread title, if the economy stays strong - and I expect it will - Trump's re-election chances rise.

I have seen one person saying they hope for a downturn which is far from a crash, with one ‘like’. That’s pretty far from “a lot of people” wanting the “economy to crash”.

    Hyperbole much?

The Dems have been praying for a tanked economy for 3 years and predicting it just as long. Obviously, if it tanks, it's going to hurt the President, and well the nation....and in turn the globe....but leftist want that.

Odd, they can't win on policies, so they pray for the world to suffer so they can get a chance.

Hyperbole? Not really.....and that is why I used the word "seems", which implies that it is my opinion. The "anti-Trumpers" posting in this thread are the same ones we see in just about every thread posting negative things about Trump with their same spin to paint as grim as a picture as possible. Many have expressed their opinion quite clearly in the past that they want Trump out at any cost. Granted, I am not criticizing their negative view of Trump (there is plenty to be negative about), but their obvious glee seems to be obvious....at least to me, but maybe my opinion is just influence too much from their past postings.

p.s. You are not one that I am referring to. You seem to be looking at it in your same analytical viewpoint.

AAnd the Elite are doing all they can to create a recession BEFORE the 2020 elections.. why would anyone support a group that intends to crash the economy? Th eElite have enough money to weather any recession.. and after they get rid of "Trumpism" they can go back to their fat crony money making schemes and leave us much poorer for it.. you leaders don't care much about you, do they?

I don’t really see his chances rising much, his ratings have been pretty constant from day 1.
The people that hate him do so irregardless and the people that love him act like they belong to a cult.

A handful of states will determine this election on electoral college grounds, most likely on a slimmer margin than 2016.

Haha Obama passed off an economy with historically low growth. Trump’s got a growing exonomy, that slowed down from the boom he created, but nonetheless growing.

Meanwhile the left is left literally praying for a economy to tank because you can’t win on policies
