I don't know what you mean by "outsider".

The manuscript is not kept in one place. The British Library has one part of the manuscript, while three others are in Russia, Leipzig, and St. Catherine Monastery. Why don't you write any or all of those places an email requesting to see their part of the manuscript?

Anyway, it's being digitized and made public online.

Yes, I already know what your answer will be. Obviously, the vast number of scholars, researchers, curators, and other members of the scientific community from different countries working together on the manuscript is not enough to guarantee there isn't some huge, centuries old, world-spanning conspiracy going on. Have fun making heads and tails of it.

You have junk pieces of pages containing only a few letters that are supposed to be from certain biblical passages. Most of the letters don't even make up words. And the letters themselves are written in the Modern Greek alphabet. The thing is a hoax.

I have to say, you are one of the more gullible people on the forum. The hadiths were written centuries after the Mohammed character supposedly bit the dust. They are hoaxes.

I was actually referring to the Qur'an.

False hadiths there are. More than true ones. But that's not the fault of muslims strictly speaking. You distort the Qur'an too. Who are you to accuse others of doing the same?

I beg to differ. Someone deliberately making a hoax would be more careful to avoid detection, don't you think?

Are Ramayana and Mahabharata hoaxes, too? Do you think only certain religious texts are hoaxes, all texts belonging to certain religions, all texts of all religions, everything related to certain cultures, everything related to certain groups? This is very confusing, you know. Is there one source for all hoaxes, multiple related or unrelated sources, is there a purpose?

There's no doubt that some copyists and translators of religious manuscripts had made slight changes to the text. Some archaic idioms and turns of phrases had been corrected to fit the contemporary language, some myths had been altered according to new beliefs, some words had been either left out or changed to twist the meaning of the phrase. But to claim that all this is the result of a centuries or millennia old world wide conspiracy that's still going on today for some obscure purpose, is silly.

In some of his posts he hinted that the three Abrahamic religions are the result of a vast conspiracy.

That would be a very old conspiracy. That said - there is no religion that is without an element of "conspiracy" although that is probably not the best word. Artistic license - changing the text to make it better conform to man made dogma - being the most common of "conspiratorial" elements. Often a conspiracy of one - at least in the beginning.

You were made out of mud. Where did the meat come from?

    Surah 15:26 =
    26. We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;

Who did the creating, and if Allah did it, why did he need help? Real gods don't need help to create man.

Where did the mud come from under naturalistic evolution?

Seriously, what's the source of your hate?

    I don't get it.

I'm not sure how you arrived at that, maybe you are responding to the wrong post. If not, please elaborate.

Your childish passive aggressive proposals for insulting one of Earth's primary religious could not be born of anything but hate.

It's a meme that perfectly illustrates that tolerance is a two way street. It looks to have activated YOUR hate. You want to see hate? Try building a gay bar next to a Mosque.

Allah is not a god. This is why Islam says “La ilaha il Allah”- which means there is no god but Allah.

Allah is thus the only Reality and Truth.

So as far as the OP goes, “God” in Islam is not like the god of the Bible.

Like demanding pork free restaurants is not? Like Sharia patrols on American soil is not? Screw that noise.

So how’d you, oh great scholar, arrive to the conclusion that they are hoaxes?

islam and christianity believe in the same God, the same Jesus and many of the same players, but they both have a different version of the 2nd half of the story, they are both part 2's of the Jewish religion

Not really, Christians worship a man on a cross; Muslims submit to the One Reality.

We’re closer to Jews in terms of our conception of “God,” though.
