Bad news for sky is falling crowd

Looks like this hurricane season is a bust and the alarmist who were gleefully hoping for hurricanes, death and destruction will once again be disappointed. So much for global warming and it's scary predictions of ever more powerful and frequent hurricanes. You poor guys just can't catch a break, one end of earth after another prediction just sort of fizzles out on you.

The one hurricane we did have was climate I guess because the cult was saying see, global warming but now the season as a whole is just weather. LOL

JW, I confess that i am not entirely sure where you are coming from. It seems like a major component of your point of view is centered on disgust for people and attitudes that you consider alarmist.

I am a little curious to know if your contempt for alarmism is universal, or selective. For instance.... if i were to present examples of conservative alarmism.... would you dismiss that alarmism, or find it as contemptible as liberal alarmism?

I am further interested to know whether your alarmism about alarmism is a conscious choice that you have made. For instance, would you be interested If we discovered that scientific literature about AGW was not filled with alarmism.... and that, never the less you preferred to have alarmist reactions to non scientists? Wouldn’t that show us something about your attitudes? Wouldn’t it be ironic if we discovered that even as you decry alarmism....alarmism is your own preference for your own reactions?

Sorry but I don't see any group except climate alarmist calling non believers "flat earthers" and claiming "the science is settled" and saying we are on the verge of making our planet uninhabitable by man. The word alarmist is a good description for this sky is falling group but I actually prefer the term cult because that's exactly what it has become. Non believers are the cults heretics, heathens and infidels that should be ignored and even shunned.

 

The insinuation is clear and denotes the general lack of tolerance by the cult for non believers
