    If the Democrats find out Greenland would be an automatic 3 electoral votes for them in presidential elections, Greenland would be a state tomorrow.

    Considering the potential for natural resources and the strategic position Greenland would be a excellent purchase. But I doubt we could convince them.

    It's not a sidestep at all.

    As an autonomous territory it would be no different than making Puerto Rico a state.

    I just figured it was obvious, but I guess not.

    Especially with a population of 57,000.

    No, the Puerto Ricans haven't done any good in Puerto Rico.

    We sent their supplies. Their corrupt government either kept them for themselves, or couldn't be bothered to deliver them.
