Why bother pointing out another lie by Trump?

This time the Liar-in-Chief told a bizarre whopper about being asked to mediate the conflict over Kashmir.

Trump said India asked him to help mediate the Kashmir conflict with Pakistan. India quickly said that's not true.

I don't know why he would tell such a lie. Or for that matter why he tells any of the thousands of lies he has told while prez. The easiest way to explain it is he is a pathological liar and it's what pathological liars do...........they lie about everything all the time.......about everything.

So why mention it?

Because it is important to remember this isn't normal. It's what Trump does. It isn't what prior prez's have done. We all have to appreciate what an aberration/mistake/lapse of judgement he is. Trump is the biggest national electoral error we have ever made. Most people in the US and around the world know it.

Trump's lies, exaggerations, distortion of the truth, rhetoric don't bother me...."goes in one ear and out the other", HOWEVER, when they are echoed by his loyalists, WATCH OUT!

 

That means his inveterate lying has become normalized for you. IMO, that's very dangerous. When did it become quaint to expect the POTUS to tell the truth the vast majority of the time?

 

Lee, maybe you could just set everything straight every time you felt President Trump lies. Oh, I forgot you do now.

I've wondering about the exact same question. Has there ever been a time in US history when the economy was doing well enough not to necessitate stimulative deficit spending that drives up deficits yet ran such a high annual budget deficit?
