http://www.fox4news.com/news/man-angry-at-dallas-us-postal-service-worker-throws-racist-tantrum So this moron didn’t think he was getting fast enough service and started yelling at the lady behind the counter and cussing her out. He even used the n word. People in line started to defend the postal worker, but then he started yelling at them and left. The guy wasn’t all there. I don’t know if he was drunk, high, mentally challenged, or just a garden variety idiot. Customers got his license plate and I suspect the USPIS will be visiting him today. I look forward to seeing this guy arrested on the news.
He was wrong to call her what he did, but there are many African American women who give very slow service and act like they don't care because, on some level, they are resentful about having to "work for the white man" and be inconvenienced (even though taking care of the customer is part of their duty in their service job). It's not most African American women, of course, but enough in some places to make it a stereotype.
I'd go with the Postal Worker stereotype over the Black woman stereotype myself... Agree with the other guy.... this actually isn't an arrestable offense, but the article says he can be banned from that particular post office... It's 100 degrees in August in North Texas... which of us wouldn't be ticked off at being at a US post office to begin with?
Could be just a coincidence but I've always had the rudest possible customer service from black women. That doesn't justify using the N bomb, but let's not sit here and pretend that they are nice to white people
I agree the post office is just a miserable place to be. It amazes me just how slow they move. My letter carrier is not much better, I constantly get the sorry you wear not home slip in my mail box when I need to sign for something when I am in the house watching him put my mail in the mailbox. Bunch of lazy slugs.
Why in the hell do you think it's called "snail mail" in the first place? Of course humans are not at all patient like they used to be when it was all slow to deliver...
There is a federal law for disrupting the peace and disrupting the operation of the work place. There is also the public lewdness in front of children thing. A lady in line spoke up and he turned on her and told her to shut up in a threatening manner. The dude was out of control.
Nothing what the guy did was technically illegal. Unless they're going to try something disorderly conduct which is not really going to fly. So there isn't going to be an arrest or jail time. Chances are the USPS isn't even going to do anything with this.
From the video I see what the problem was, no postal worker was at the counter, you see that alot today. After every third customer the postal worker takes another break.
In the link? I read the article but only saw an image not a video. I'll look into it and get back to you.
I get this all of the time. I filed a complaint once. I told them I was home all day waiting for the delivery and I have cameras all around my front door and drive way and no one attempted to deliver anything.
I doubt it's a crime, but in the court of public opinion if he owns a business or something.. he is done for, no one gonna do business there anymore but this could be a case where gun rights should be removed as the man seems in a state of mind that he should not own guns
the usps here uses contractors now, not real carriers like in the old days were you had the same carrier for years and years, we often get our mail mixed with others with the same house number - luckily we all are honest and just drive the package to the correct house when happens - iknow it has happened when says delivered, but was not... I also have arlo camera's, so can see if it was or not
Are you kidding me? See, this is why the “red flag” law proposals are utter crap. Yeah, the guy is an offensive idiot, to be sure. He has the right to be an offensive idiot. He will reap the rewards of being an offensive idiot when he finds his life is difficult because nobody want to deal with him. But to take away his 2nd amendment rights for using his 1st amendment rights is ridiculous and over the top. People are allowed to be angry idiots.
What the man did was inappropriate Yelling at someone behind a counter is wrong 99% of the time unless they yell at you first But I suspect libs are most incensed by the racial slurs Which do not trouble me very much since one personal insult is no better or worse than another Its happened to me and I’m white
