I'm not pointing my finger at Netanyahu for disrespecting our congress - I would EXPECT him to do that, given his record.

However, I would point out that the reasons he gave for denying a visa are just plain pathetic. Plus, he reversed course on that - something that wouldn't be justified if the reasons given were actually important.

They certainly do not compare to the reasons that we denied access to Ben Ari.

Again, this isn't the main point. We DO have every right to expect that the US president would respect the US congress when making public statements to other nations.

Negotiations that have take place so far have involved no more than cease fire plans and have rarely involved anyone from Gaza being allowed to even take part.

The requirement from Gaza that the war end has never even been considered. As the blockade is an act of war, as is Israel's denial even of fishing rights in Gaza waters, the blockade would have to end to have any chance of being pitched as an end to the war.

Also, Gaza has rightful ownership of fossil fuel resources within its waters. Israel has been blocking Gaza from access, in fact they have sold those rights to others without consent from Gaza.

Gaza could have a thriving economy if Israel were not carrying out its reprisal bombings of Gazan civilian residences and continuing its physical and economic war against Gaza.

The idea that the big problem is some rockets that can't even be targeted is no more than Israeli propaganda.

Not up to me to claim anyone is a "waste of space".

Trump is not your hero? Wow - what a shock!

Why did Israel ban Omar & Tlaib? Oh yes, I did miss your question - profuse apologies - they did so because their bigoted hate filled puppet master Trump told them to do it.

Well how would you describe Steve King?

I was talking about Steve King. You called HIM my hero, not Trump. So how is King my hero?

So you no longer think that it is because they are Muslim?

What WOULD certainly be pathetic is if they only reversed their decision because of Trump. And considering that the news broke about the reversal about 5 seconds after Trump's tweet, I must admit that it sure does look like so. However, it's not as if the reasons that were given are pathetic - they are most understandable given that these two are vicious anti-Semites. However, I would've rather that they voiced their anti-Semitism so that it could've been fought and would also have made things bad for the Democrats, who UNTHINKABLY would have almost certainly refused to criticise them even though Pelosi publicly stated at AIPAC that the movement that these two support is anti-Semitic! Trump should have been wanting this as he could've benefited greatly.

Oh, so there are no terrorist links to Omar and Tlaib? You may want to check up on the group that they would've been touring with.

We should "sweat those folks", Zorro, because they vote, and because their radical, America-hating viewpoints and behaviors often conflict violently with everything that really did "make America great", when America was great....

Creatures like Tlaib and Ilhan Omar ARE those "enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC" that many of us took oaths to defend the Constitution of the United States against. And our oaths never expired....

The link I posted above describes him better than I can.

Glad to know Trump is not your hero. But King?? Tsk, tsk ...

Had they been Christian it may well have been a different story.

Yet, somehow it was OK when Obama did it. The Obama administration denied entry to a Jewish member of the Knesset because of his political views.

But they did not kill any Americans unlike traitors Bush, Cheney, and the like. Those are America's real enemies.

I did NOT call King my hero! YOU called him my hero! What made you think that he was my hero?

If they were Christians who were RAGING anti-Semites? They would've obviously been banned!

What?! Bush and Cheney, along with "the like" have killed Americans?! Why were no charges brought forth against any of these alleged criminals? Why were there no trials for any of them in a court of law?

OR, is it just possible that (not for the first time) you are just blowing this out of your ass, Mr. Truth...?

Suggestion: because the United States is a country composed largely of what devout Muslims like Tlaib and Omar consider to be "INFIDELS", perhaps you should refresh your informed understanding of what Islam's holy book, the Quran, says should be done to us TODAY, RIGHT NOW, IN THE 21-CENTURY: https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx

^ So, who is your hero?

More often than not, the real raging anti-semites are professing Christians. Thankfully these ladies are not anything like that.

Israel needs to open itself up a bit more and that would work to its advantage by giving the appearance of more transparency.

Personal attack noted, no surprise ....

Do read the Downing Street Memo which I have posted before. Also see my previous links to Ben Ferencz's writing on traitor Bush's war and how he deserves a Nuremberg tribunal for his crimes against America and the world.

Well then they would be banned too right?

I note that you're not saying that they are simply not anti-Semites. How telling!

Fine! Let the charges be brought forth, and let the trials begin promptly! But, I suggest the neither of us holds our breath waiting for these things to happen.... Hint: anybody can write an opinion they hold, Mr. Truth, but that doesn't make what is written to be true.

Oh, BTW, for well over a decade I have believed, personally, that the Iraq War and nearly all of the Afghanistan War have been the most misguided, stupid, indefensible calamities this country ever got involved in. And, I can't help but remember, tongue-in-cheek, that it was "Messiah Obama" who vehemently declared when he ran for the presidency in 2008 that he would get the U. S. out of both of these rotten catastrophes -- and very, very quickly -- if he were elected. Yet after eight, long, miserable years of his regime, where were we...?

So... following your 'logic', should Comrade Obama be put on trial, too...?

As we discussed and documented enough times on this forum, Obama tried to get the USA out of Iraq and Afghanistan but your fellow Republicans stopped him from doing so. Then when ISIS strengthened they blamed him for withdrawing troops from the area - in fact, some of your fellow Republicans on this forum did so here. With Obama it was always damned if you do , damned if you don't.

If your hero traitor Bush hadn't started the war in the first place, none of this would have happened. Blame him and his warmongering treason for causing all this mess. Further, blame your fellow Republicans for supporting his treason and war profiting for Halliburton and Bechtel.

Still waiting for "proof" of the claim they are anti semites.

Of course, we all know that the real anti semites are those who oppose Palestinian rights.

Being elected in the US doesn't give anybody any kind of privilege to enter a foreign country. Sovereign countries are free to refuse entry to anybody for any reason or none.

OK, Mister "Truth", let's clear the air --

    1. I'm NOT a Republican. I'm not anything!
    2. Consequently, I don't have any "fellow Republicans".
    3. "Bush" is not my "hero". I've referred to him in my posts throughout years as being "Idiot "W" Bush", and I do so every chance I get....

Obama's opposition was so weak, scattered, and disorganized in Congress during his first entire two years as president that they couldn't even stop an unconstitutional travesty like "Obamacare" -- surely if the "Messiah" had felt as strongly about getting us out of Iraq and Afghanistan in 2009 as he SAID he did in 2008, he would have had the United States out of both of these shitholes in a heartbeat!

No, YOUR hero, Obama, had more important things to do, like pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into frauds like Solyndra, giving more hundreds of millions to the International Monetary Fund while we were struggling to get free of the Great Recession, and wasting yet more hundreds of millions on a "Stimulus" that stimulated nothing but labor unions, political allies, and other liberal Democrats' pet projects while squandering nearly all of the money into unaccountable 'black-holes'.

Then, and throughout his second term, when Obama figured out that he could simply rule the country endlessly with executive orders, pronouncements, decrees, and other autocratic dicta, he could have gotten us completely out of both Iraq and Afghanistan. BUT -- instead, he made a "midnight deal" to keep the U. S. mired in Afghanistan until the year 2024 (not a typo), and with not even a hint of ever getting out of Iraq! Link: https://www.commondreams.org/news/2012/05/02/obamas-midnight-deal-will-stretch-afghan-war-2024

Conclusion: there's enough blame to go around -- for Idiot "W" Bush, for Idiot "Messiah" Obama, and, now, also for Donald Trump. He's been in office for well over two years, and I would ask Republicans -- Why the hell are we still in Iraq or Afghanistan?!
