Conservative groups that have suffered due to being tagged on the controversial “hate map” of the Southern Poverty Law Center say the organization has no moral authority to label others as it grapples with racial discrimination and sexual harassment allegations of its own.

“Today’s SPLC is aggressively anti-Christian and morally bankrupt, both inside and out. It has long lost any claim as the moral arbiter of ‘hate,’” Jeremy Tedesco, senior counsel and vice president of U.S. advocacy for Alliance Defending Freedom told The Christian Post.

The ADF is an alliance-building legal organization based in Arizona that advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith. The group unites attorneys, ministry leaders, pastors, and like-minded organizations in a common purpose — a shared commitment to defending religious liberty, the sanctity of life, marriage and family. https://www.christianpost.com/news/...servatives-call-out-corruption-hypocrisy.html The SPLC is a terrorist inspiring hate group. They are ridden with scandal. Racism, sexism, and financial corruption.

There is no group of people collected in a group more biased, bigoted, scandal plagued, sexist, racist, and hate filled than the SPLC. They are not morally fit to judge anyone.

Did you ever stop to think that conservative Christianity practices a lot of hate? probably moreso than any other demographic. You may not think that it is hate to denigrate those who, for instance, are homosexuals, but it is. I grew up a non-believer in a conservative Christian household. Whatever you call it, the denigration, the insults, the untruths, it isn't exactly love.

Why is ADF a big proponent of Conversion Therapy if they only want to allow people to live their faith. Isn't conversion therapy something that can be forced on others.

Awww, poor snowflakes. For 2,000 years, religious conservatives have tortured gay people - they have imprisoned gay people, they have chemically castrated gay people, they have got them fired from their jobs and dishonored their military service. And now we are to feel sorry for them because they get put on a list? The horror!

You can literally count the number of non-religious members of Congress on one hand - but it's the religious people who are being discriminated against? Gimme a ****ing break.

Don’t worry. On our current trajectory, we’ll be feeding Christians to the lions in a few decades.

You mean the trajectory where 95% of Congress and Presidents are Christian? Yup - I know it's a tough road to hoe, but you poor Christians should be able to survive. WTF. Snowflakes, indeed.

While I will not gainsay your comments with respect to the SPLC .. what is also true is that the religious right is also morally bankrupt. The "racism, sexism, terrorist inspiring" qualities that you attribute to the SPLC - can also be associated with the religious right.

Gays aside - For 1600 years Christians have been killing and torturing anyone who disagreed with them .. and those they did not like -Jews in particular.

So now the group that is famous for wanting to force personal beliefs on others through physical violence (Law) is complaining that others are trying to stop them - through law.

    How quaint :)

The SPLC needs to be financially broken and all it’s crimes exposed for all to see. They no longer have any redeeming value and no purpose to exist except to hate and profit from it.

    Absolutely true:

BUT DON’T YOU DARE QUESTION THEIR PATRIOTISM: 6th Grade Project Claims State Flag Is ‘Violent’ Against Native Americans, SPLC Awards $10K.

    https://answersingenesis.org/culture/are-christian-organizations-hate-groups/

Over 46 nonprofit Christian groups have been catigorized by the SPLC as hate groups for holding traditional Christian values attributed to their religion, such as same sex marriage. These Christian organizations do not advocate for violence or discrimination, rather simply following their religious texts as written.

The SPLC is not labeling these groups out of the intention of stopping legitimate hatred and violence, as there is hardly any, if any at all, hate advocacy in said groups.

To put it bluntly, they just don't like Christians and have an unhealthy habit of associating followers of the New Testament with things like white supremacy and aggressive homophobia, which, lets be honest, is very rare in your local neighborhood church these days

I've been a homosexual Christian for 26 years and I never encountered things the SPLC has accused organizations of my faith of.

If you want a reliable source of who is a hate group, don't pick the SPLC

Good lord, what's this? SPLC is being sued for all the stupid sheit they're doing?

It's like the SPLC WANT to be destroyed by their own lunacy.

Want to find out if a group is actually hateful? Seek it/them out and find out as opposed to blindly following what some whacko center says.

5 Reasons the SPLC Is Profoundly Wrong About Two Notorious Christian ‘Hate Groups.’

Over the weekend, Jessica Prol Smith spoke out at USA Today about almost getting murdered thanks to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which had accused her employer, the Family Research Council (FRC), of being a "hate group," putting it on a list with the KKK. Smith's current employer, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), has also been falsely accused of being a "hate group." Yet the SPLC doubled down on the claims with two blog posts insisting that ADF and FRC are "hate groups."

Apparently they do not have the "received view" on LGBTQ.

The ADF is an extremist group way far out on the political spectrum. It’s part of the oxymoronic ‘Christian Right’.

A collection of shameless, self serving, hysterical, power hungry faux Christians.

If you’re wondering why American Christianity is losing ground look no farther than these kind of nut jobs.
