That averages to a 25K downward revision per month. The unemployment rate isn't rising, and there's a surplus of available jobs. The DNC isn't even talking about job creation this cycle. For (D)'s it's been about free college to qualify for high skill job openings.

As the GOP economic policies have created an economic boom, and the Mueller Report blew up their false narrative, the DNC is left with race baiting and buying votes.

This means that his claim of putting the most Americans to work in our history is another of his lies.

I know. But unless trump has a time machine, he has nothing to do with the economic trend that’s remained the same since 2010.

    We’ve been over this.

Which of course tells us about one tenth of 1 percent of reality of course. The biggest factor in the current tight job market is the shortage of part time help that is forcing many companies to provide full time employment to many of their previous part time employees. And the reduction in taxes and regulations makes that much more affordable.

So, you're mad it went down?

Would you be happy if the unemployment went up?

If you review the chart on https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/21/business/economy/jobs-growth-revision.html it shows a generally downward trend in job growth since 2016. April 2018 through April 2019 was the period of adjustment. These are BLS numbers. The continued downward trend in job growth is especially significant given predictions of possible recession.

The "sugar high" for the Trump tax cuts was much lower than predicted by the Trump administration. Based on the revisions, that period was negative.

Shhh! you are destroying the OP's fantasy. In his/her/alphabets world everyone is unemployed and that is causing the entire west coast to become homeless.

Last time the economy average 229K jobs was 2014, so clearly something has changed in the last 5 years.

Every economic metric has been on the same upward unchanging trend since 2010

Correct, I was referring to the GOP who took the House in 2010, then the Senate in 2014....I didn't say Trump. I was referrring to the GOP, not Obama.who's policies, along with a Dem Congress, gave us double digit unemployment in 2010

Ah, so you don’t know how bills become law. I see why you are confused now. And you were proven wrong on the double digit UE, as you know.

Obviously, you should know that "rate" of change that is important, not simply the direction of the change. Otherwise, we wouldn't need to report economic figures

The rate of change in economy growth is different today than it was during 2010. That's not debatable.

Of course it’s debatable. Every economic metric has remained on the exact same trend line since 2010. This is empirical fact.

Maybe I should give you an example even you can understand. Let's say, from 2010 - 2017, your income has grown at a an average of 1.6%. Then, since 2017, your income has grown at an average of 2.7%. Are you then going to then suggest that the trend is "the same?"

Replace your income with the economy and then maybe you'll how nonsensical your statements are.

    Or, maybe not.

But that hasn’t happened under trump. Which is why I pointed out the trend hasn’t changed since 2010.
