The Left has painted itself into a corner, for many moons we have both largely carried the G-7's defense budgets and let many of them run trade surpluses against us. Both of these things are extremely expensive, but, the American People tend to be a very generous giving bunch.

At the same time, the hatred the Left has for this nation is getting more and more vitriolic. Rather than expressing gratitude, we get a 24/7 drum beat form multiple sources about just how despicable we, Nazi's, White Supremacists, Exploiters, and Racists. When successive Democrat Nominees described us "Bitter Clingers, Bible Thumpers, Xenophobes, Deplorable and Irredeemable, they cheered and no voices were raised from these G-7 nations pointing out what great, wonderful and giving folks we are.

Well, guess what free-loaders, you can stuff it. The free load is over. You can meet you own defense spending obligations, and you can purchase the same amount from our workers as you want us to purchase from yours.

The president plans to 'frankly' discuss trade, a digital services tax and NATO spending obligations during the summit this weekend in France.

Trump will contrast U.S. growth with Europe’s economic doldrums and press his pro-jobs and fair trade messages.

Trump plans to “frankly” discuss sticking points among G-7 nations including trade, a digital services tax and NATO spending obligations.

The left loves situations where the U.S. gets the short end of the stick. Anything that weakens America is good and shouldn’t be tampered with.

Stormy Daniels certainly got the short end of the stick..... both times she interacted with Trump in fact.

On topic (??), Nobody will meet privately with Trump..... there's nothing to be gained there.... a few pics and tweets and he's lumbering back up the plane ramp....

Don't forget, Trump at the G7 is a "Deep crisis of Democracy".... Snicker...

We are their cash cows, we are to silently labor for their Left-wing agenda of stripping us of our civil rights. What a grand thing to have Trump representing us and putting US first!

You never did complete you first paragraph stating how "leftist" have painted itself into a corner..Nor did you explain how everything is the fault of the "left" in the world and its relation to the G-7 summit which real "leftist" protest over it's abuse of finances to corner the market for the strongest nations.

Who is this mysterious "left" you speak of, who does it represent specifically and why do you have a problem with generalizing all the time?

Trump has certainly shaken things up. He can be a bit of a "bull in a china shop" but his dedication to this country and his America first stance has endeared him to a lot of Americans. With Trump, the world knows where he stands, and he stands up for America.

He's not there to kiss ass, make mealy-mouthed apologies for America's greatness, trying to buy friends with our tax dollars, and hoping he gets a Nobel prize  He's there to fight for America. He's there to fight for us.

Generalizing is a valid tool to analyze situations and make a point. If 90%+ of one group does or believes a certain thing, it’s ok to generalize. But if you get down to 60% or so, generalizations are meaningless and you lose credibility.

Yes, Americans are more secure when we are friends with other nations and not enemies.

And when is that fight going to start?
Like Mike Tyson said "Every fighter has a plan till he gets hit." Trump NEVER has a plan and the hits keep on coming. China, NK, EU, Canada, Mexico and soon (OCT) the economy. But you keep cheering for him. He loves it.:cheerleader:

They didn't vote to oust them...7 members agreed to suspend their membership because of the annexation of Crimea. Japan, Italy, and Germany have all called for Russia to come back....Russia however decided on it's own to completely withdraw.

Those relationships haven't fundamentally changed (well maybe with Gina).... they are all just in a holding pattern until Trump is pushing daisies...

Here's the most easily answered question of the day

    SNIP
Trump has questioned why he must attend G7
    ENDSNIP

Don't GO!! NOBODY wants you there.... it's time for the big boys and girls to talk about things you are not interested in, or equipped to discuss....

I, for one, would applaud him begging off this conference next year, due to eating a bad hamberder....

Oh crap... it's in the US.... well, make that 2 bad hamberders....
