It ceases to be private property when it functions upon public funds.

I hope the discussion can get back to free speech. Many campuses have "Free Speech Zones" to suppress opposing views. The same college than held pro-Hillary, anti-Trump rallies with tents, bull horns, and leaflets, threatened a student with removal for handing out copies of the constitution.

I don't believe Oral Roberts U is Government funded as many of the other Universities are. There students can apply for government loans, but the University it self is not funded by Government money (I believe).

Let me think about it. NO!!!

Racism is hatred and hatred is rampant in this thread! But the world is too afraid to call it racism when Muslims hate Jewish people or black people hate white people! We are an ignorant country and world! Racism is hatred and hatred is everywhere, to include flowing in this thread!

Well, to be fair, they also refuse to call it racism when Stanford does it.

SEGREGATION NOW, SEGREGATION TOMORROW, SEGREGATION FOREVER! Stanford pushes separate physics course for minority students.

I don't think private colleges receive funding from government and thus can make their own rules.

Only reason to ban them is because their ideas are dangerous and they are only dangerous if they are reasonable.

When you ban a speaker is because you can't argue against them.

    Wow!

The Greatest State of California is not on the list.
    Well, Texas ain't there neither.

Anyone remember Mario Savio of U.C. Berkley and
the "igniting" of campus Free Speech Movement.
    (How old are we now?)

An example of disorderly and/ or violent conduct is like when Trump told a fan at a rally to hit a protestor and or that a protestor needed to be "kicked the hell out". Trump added that he would pay for the legal fees of the guys who smacked the protestors. So neither a college nor a POTUS should use disorderly or violent means to shut down free speech.

Now, if these *******s would stop voting TO INCREASE prison funding, and AGAINST legalization of Cannabis, we could operate in the Black forever.
