Clearly, given the massive fall out over the Biden rule we should consider revisiting it

She fought for the 'right' to butcher babies in the womb, for decades and to push a progressive agenda on us all.

Also she's a proponent of state-sanctioned racism via affirmative action.

She has a brilliant mind. It is her liberal interpretation of constitutional law I don't agree with.
I'm sure intellectuals and her peers appreciate and admire her even if they don't agree with her.
I don't hate her. I don't know her personally. I don't wish for her to die.
I can't say the same about all people in public office or politics.

So trump can stack the court with more ideologues?

I have a feeling that’s why she isn’t retiring which is sad but honorable all at the same time.

I doubt mitch will have the same standard on SCOTUS nominees like he did with Obama.

She's a cancer on the Constitution....she needs to quit and not be a total ass like John McCain. She's the big-brained idiot that said the Constitution needed to be trashed and replaced with something akin to South Africa's constitution.

Last I heard there is only a 5% chance of beating the grim reaper if you have pancreatic cancer. She will not will 6 more months considering her age and condition. I bet Moskovsky Mitch is getting the Confirmation room ready.

That way Trump can nominate her replacement before Jan 2021. You think Ruth will cooperate and die sooner?

    She looks awful.

Like many aging pro athletes she doesn’t know when to quit. She should have taken a bow and walked away while Obama was in office...

Trump obviously has an obligation to make a nomination and given the fall out from the Biden rule, it’s clear the senate needs to revisit it, and thanks to Reid...we once again don’t have to worry about the filibuster.

Taking odds on the probability of her survival is any different than what your comrades are accusing RW members here of, wishing she croaks soon?

I wish her a complete recovery and another 15 years of a good life. But she's 85 and this is her third cancer (colon, lung, pancreas). Maybe it's time to retire. She can't be at 100% right now.

You've got to a admire the woman even if you disagree with her politics or her activist judging.

Her backpack kind of cracks me up. And my gosh, it looks like she's wearing heels in that photo. From one chick to another I'll give her props for that ---- if I was in her position I can almost guarantee I would not be wearing high heels for my trip home.

I've long thought she should have retired while she could still enjoy her retirement, but I guess she's driven by a vindictive political fire most of us will never understand. She may well die in this job, trying to eek out one more day for spite, so her replacement can't be named.

To each his own. We all have to live (and die) with our own choices.

    I wish her well.

I also wish she would step aside so Trump can get on with naming her replacement.
