Dirty Donalds latest suggestion to homeland security that we NUKE the eye of hurricanes headed towards the USA, to disrupt them.To hell with the radiation fallout and ships in the sea beneath.

Before commenting on the physics behind the proposal, let's see Trump fans defend it.

That's how the defending usually goes:

    1) he didn't say it.

    2) yes he said it and it's great.

    3) no it's really dumb, but it was just a joke.

    In edit:

    4) it's all the Dem's fault

I read the Drudge article and when Trump asked the question nobody seemed capable of giving him an answer. So incompetent advisers, eh? Trump should fire them and find some people with an understanding of fundamental science or at least the balls to answer their president when he asks a question.

They are his advisers, the buck stops at the top.

But, what's your opinion on the proposal?

My opinion is that it's a bad idea because the fallout is going to pollute regions with radioactivity and most likely do didley squat to break up the hurricane formation. That's pretty much all that any of his advisers needed to tell Trump rather than just remaining silent and acting as if he'd just shoved a red hot poker up their behinds. When the boss asks a question you do your best to give him an answer. It's not rocket science.

It took many years for some of the cancers to show up in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after we nuked them in 1940's.Lymphoma was there in big numbers within 2 years but thyroid and breast cancer and other forms took more than ten years to show up in real large numbers.

Maybe you should use this kind of common sense reasoning to other outrageous things Trump tends to say.

All Trump knows is that he has this really big hammer. So he is running around looking for something to break with it.

I do. Perhaps Trump haters could expend a tad bit of brain power and realize that there often is a world of difference between the things that Trump says and what he actually ends up doing. But then again these are the very same people who never caught any of it when Barack Obama would race agitate or bad mouth this nation. So . . . it . . . goes.

Having Trump as a boss complicates the issus. You are dealing with someone who doesn't typically listen to reason and retaliates when he hears advice he doesn't like, whether it is true or not. You are stuck between job preservation or speaking truth to power. Those with integrity will chose the later, but Trump doesn't have a habit of attracting and keeping advisers with integrity.

Get back to us when he actually orders a nuke to be exploded above a hurricane formation. Asking questions is what a president is supposed to do in regards to his advisers . . . otherwise they wouldn't BE advisers. All any of them had to say was , "No sir we can't do that because . . . " Barack Obama would have be a far better president had he bothered to ask questions rather than be such a narcissist that he KNEW that he already had all the answers.

Gasp! You mean that he has ordered a nuke to be injected into a hurricane? Oh wait, no he didn't. Gasp! It-It's almost as if he . . . listened to reason. The hysterical political Left is very amusing at times.

The only two nukes used stopped the Japanese divine winds did they not?

Nuking hurricanes is not an outrageous idea. You just need to drop it strategically when eye of the hurricane is over the Washington Post HQ to stop the hurricane before it does any more damage.

Trump has routinely ignored reasonable advice. I'm glad if he listened in this case, or more likely got distracted, or realized someone would stop him if he tried. Trump has proven over the past few decades that listening to reason isn't exactly his strong suit.

Also, please learn what political leftism actually is instead of labeling all criticism of the Lord God of Trumpism leftist. Or keep practicing the same lack of critical thinking the Lord God does.

OK, Trump FanBoys. Close your eyes for a second and imagine Barak Obama asking a room full of advisors and military generals if he should drop a nuke in a hurricane in the Caribbean ... then ask yourselves how ****ing stupid Trump really is.
