Next time you ask why someone didn't "do something" to stop someone from hurting someone else and just stood there and filmed it, you'll know why.

Well in this case, you don't attack someone twice your age and half your size by ambushing them and knocking them to the concrete.

That will help keep the guns out of your face.

Exactly. I used to teach LINE training a long time ago. I know exactly why this guy ambushed him and I'm very familiar with the body language.

He wasn't waiting. He got as close as possible before shoving him by pretending not to be a threat. The shove was to put him on the ground. You can see him pulling up his pants (very aggressive body language) and taking a couple steps towards him on the ground before the gun comes out.

If he had been afraid this guy was going to hurt his gf, he would have immediately tried to get his attention off her and onto him when he came out of the store.

He saw a guy he could make an example of, and moved in for the kill.

Very good point. I'll have another look at that, but since you mention it, It did puzzle me why he was completely silent. I had no idea it was a tactical maneuver. Does make sense as one though. That's interesting. I wonder why no one in LE or the guys legal defense raised this issue?

And had the physical assault not occurred everyone would have gone home that night.

Because it is bs. He could have been just listening to get a sense of things as he was walking up and heard the guy say something threatening.

If the shooter wasn't looking to use his gun then everyone would have gone home.

Maybe. But doubtful since neither guy said a word.

Comparing a conviction for violation of a non contact order to a murder v. self defense case is a bit of a stretch.

Way to only present half the story. You do realize that the man was convicted for breaking the restraining order, don't ya? The "pointing the finger" was determine to be a threat because of the existing restraining order with a "no contact" condition between the 2 neighbors. Hell ya, it was an illegal gesture.....no matter the color of the person's skin.

The killer didn't learn anything from his previous incidents except that he could get away with threatening to kill black people. So here it is, 2,500 posts later, and people are still saying that the white guy was justified in killing the black guy. Imagine the lengths they will go to when Amber goes on trial.

True! Just like the dead guy never learned anything from his previous assaults! Both of these guys were moving toward this eventual conclusion and surprise surprise ...here they are.

Read the article again and comprehend what it says. There was no restraining order against the guy who made the gesture.

You are correct, the lady he was with had one. However, there was documented bad blood between them and that was part of the decision. It was not just over the gesture itself.:

    From the ruling:

Had their not been the violence McGlockton started no one would have ever known about a gun.

Apparently the lovely Ms. "I have the right to park wherever I want" has a Gofundme. started by her Civil rights attorney Ben Crump.
He's the link for those so inclined.

Drejka was determined a liar in court. Basing facts on his single claim is silly. Are there any other witnesses who claimed this?

He also claimed that Mcglockton was moving towards him.

    I know right.

Like this unarmed black guy who was clearly surrendered by putting his hands up and was no longer a threat.
