    Tomorrow has come... So what?

In fact the cadidates need to collect about 5 000 signatures in order to take part in voting. Some of the candidates obviously failed to do so. The protesters consist of mainly the kids who had to return to schools from summer holidays. And that is it. For now.

The march (demonstration? meeting?) was illegal and I believe that those who organized it will be prosecuted soon and put in jail at the end of the year.

These candidates are getting paid from the Department of State and deliver their activity in Moscow to western propaganda news. In my opinion it is a pure waste of the money. Luckily Kremlin didn't choose to use violent ways to stop these protests having all the resources necessary. If it wasn't Putin and was one of us I guess these kids would miss their first schooling day.

Not sure of your argument. I suppose what you are saying is that citizens should elect their tax dept?
And maybe, citizens vote for economic policy, military personnel etc.? Various reasons - citizens vote
for parties which reflect their outlook and those parties are tasked with the details of that policy. Citizens
can't know everything about every issue. Some citizens are smart in narrow areas and can change
policies through politics themselves, or shifting public opinions.

Sure, I guess you don’t think your fellow citizens have the ability to think for themselves.

How do you know what they think? Opposing brutality is imposed by CIA? Advocating fair elections is imposed by CIA?
Not everyone is a goat that just wonders around under the watch of its shepherd Pootin.

that is the point... people know nothing except what being told by the media but still get to vote.

if there was democracy then everyone would have been entitled to learn who rule the world at least.

and the world is not ruled by presidents or parties.

did you read my reply thoroughly or you comment without reading first?
your tactics expose you as not willing to discuss but only propagandize.

Excuse me, and who do you consider the determining factor on whether a person was elected for office, or a dictator? Would it be the UN observers that oversaw the election, or Washington?

But look, if you say they're dictators who am I to object:

They are, because I said they are.

One would hope you understand that people are protesting for a reason....then again that's not what you get paid to do, now is it?

The Russian people voted for Vladimir Putin so why would they want our 'democracy'?

    Washington's New Orwellian Dictionary

Democracy - Anyone put in by corporate interests.

Welcome to our Orwellian world guys.

Putin abuses the justice system to jail his political opponents.
