I saw a report from some college, I forget which, they are offended by the WHITE stick man on the walk/dont walk signs. Just when you thot the radical left couldnt come up with anymore insanity, they have out done themselves. I would suggest they make the stick man green, but it would offend all the radical left little wing blue men from Jupiter.
This was a faux petition put out by Campus Reform a conservative media group. They made up the petition and then went about George Washington campus to gather signatures. The petition was not formulated by the University or any of its students. It was not circulated by the University or any of its students. There was no release of how many people signed or declined to sign the petition. Sounded like he didn't know, that was in the post. Didn't say how many signed either. However the premise that a lot of millennial and post millennials that do think in such exaggerated terms seems more than validated by a multitude of news over several years now. It's not a logical, rational or useful view of reality- but it is damaging to our ability to communicate and remain civil.
If one is going to try to make someone else look "insane" one should take the time to know. Generalizations and stereotypes about any group also damage our ability to communicate and remain civil.

Certainly the left is more expert in that than all others put together. In that all white males are supremicists, racist, toxic.... Or are those not generalizations attempting to slander an entire race by people deeming themselves righteous? Lack of the ability to examine your own thinking and control your own actions would seem to border on insanity to me- and thinking it doesn't kind of confirms it is. Reasonable people of different views can communicate, provided they don't start every conversation with insults and slander. Look around the forum at the level of juvenile trash-hanging that dominates left commentary- it's adversary, challenging and childish. Not discussion, but universal condemnation of anything and anyone who disagrees with their views. That is their choice- but of course, Trump made them do it. Self-control and personal standards overwhelmed by Trump-hate and the assumption or superiority. To point this out is simply observation of fact- which if the situation is ever going to improve, must be recognized in order to have a valid starting point.
Tbh the whole SJW, anti-free speech thing is blown out of proportion. Sure there are those on the left that think and behave in this way, but they really are a fringe minority. The majority of the left and liberals do not act or think in this manner, and are very pro free-speech. In fact there are many on the right that act in this way too. Despite all of this, I really do think there is a problem with thought, and views on issues, in colleges and universities. Students are scared to have differences in opinion with Professors from fear that their grades will suffer. I've seen this, and it's wrong.

No, all it shows is the willingness of Campus Reform to try to manufacture that image. Precisely because it was a fake, we have no way of knowing how valid the conclusions presented were. If they had a legitimate point it could be demonstrated via proper research though. Of course, that wouldn’t get anything like as many profitable clicks on their entertainment website. ”The left” doesn’t exist. Like most political labels, it’s just made up and doesn’t actually represent any real people. SO, that only actual expression of “being offended” here seems to be coming from you.
