As he campaigns for president, Joe Biden tells a moving but false war story

WOW such whoppers full of holes but it you listen to him he seems so convinced they are true. Now you would think he would know there are all verifiable events so he wouldn't just outright lie or is he so used to making them up and just thinks he can get away with it. And playing on the military and emotions.........

"HANOVER, N.H. - Joe Biden painted a vivid scene for the 400 people packed into a college meeting hall. A four-star general had asked the then-vice president to travel to Kunar province in Afghanistan, a dangerous foray into "godforsaken country," to recognize the remarkable heroism of a Navy captain.

Some told him it was too risky, but Biden said he brushed off their concerns. "We can lose a vice president," he said. "We can't lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.""

Uhhh except when he went to Kunar provence he was a Senator not a VP.

He then went on to tell how the Navy captain was refusing the Silver Star Biden was pinning on him, that he felt he didn't deserve because the man he rescued died.

" "This is the God's truth," Biden had said as he told the story. "My word as a Biden."

Except none of it was. As note he wasn't the VP so he couldn't have made the statement about losing a VP trying to sound as if he did some brave life threatening act.

The it was a 20 year old Army Specialist who had done the rescue.
He never had a Silver Star pinned on him by Biden he was later award the Medal of Honor which was awarded to him by President Obama.

Just an update-Biden has gone against his staff and military personnel in insisting that his version of this story is true.

 

Or is it. Was this just his attempt to disgracefully use the military and members who served and some who died to create a false story to advanced his campaign?

 

I heard this morning he's still saying he did nothing wrong.

He thinks the "story" is more important than the facts.

I care when they use the military and the death of a soldier in such a DRAMATIC detailed receitation which was entirely made up for political purposes.

Sure. Boycotting, Divesting and Sanctioning(BDS) are simply the tools that any country can use, as the tools to bring about change in another country. The BDS Movement refers specifically to the Palestinian Movement to get Israel to comply with their three demands. This is an organized Palestinian Movement. It is this Movement that Tulsi, Bernie, and Warren are against. Why? Because of the 3 Palestinian demands on Israel. The first two are fine, but the third demands that all 6 Million Palestinian refugees in Palestine(or their children), must be allowed to return to reclaim their homes in Israel. This would be the end of Israel. Here's why;

There are 5 Million Jewish Israelis and 2 Million Palestinians living in Israel now. If we allow 6 Million more Palestinians to return to reclaim their homes in Israel, the demographics of the Israeli population would change. It will now become 8 Million Palestinians and 5 Million Israeli Jews. With an Arab Palestinian majority now, what do you think will happen? Do you think that the state of Israel will still be called Israel? Do you think that Israel's quasi-Democracy, will not be replaced with Palestinian Sharia Law? I'm not a fan of Israel, and their human rights violations. But I don't want any sovereign country to end.

So, BDS are the political tools countries can use. And, the BDS Movement is specifically a Palestinian Movement working to achieve its own political or social goals in Israel.

 

If I lived in the US I would go 12" SBR AR-15, a 22LR rifle, Glock 17 in 9mm, and an 870.

Got it. And I agree with you. But .... isn't Israel aiming, effectively, to annex the West Bank? If not, what's the point of those settlements? And when they do, won't that drastically alter the demographic balance ... so they will not be able to make the Palestinians citizens, and will end up with an apartheid state.
