"Blue Lives Matter." Some critics fear that that term is devaluing or trying to silence the voices of Black Lives Matter. They say, of course police and blue lives matter. It always has. But what about black lives, too? They say, "blue is temporary". You could quit being a police officer at any day. You don't have to be a work slave". But the skin color black, that's permanent. Black Lives Matter. What do you think?
I think it's one of a hundred mundane racially baited threads that litter the PF forum already, *YAWNS*
for guys who walk around armed and think there should be harsher sentences for taking a blue life instead of any life... umm... My wife's cat's life is more valuable. The cat is stupid and lazy, but she's cute in her own useless way.
Words (and phrases ) are defined by context as well as raw meaning so the legitimacy of the phrase depends largely on when, how and with what intentions it is being used.
I think all lives matter. None more than another. I think blm is a fraud. I think most of the hundred or so lives taken that they complain of are not only imminently justified but in more than a few cases the deceased was someone engaged in taking black lives.
