Exactly. It's natural to be a man and to love your country. The only thing is if the 'brute force' is able to solve any problem without creating more problems.
Iran had a very long history with bitter moments (connected with my country as well). I understand your viewpoint. Especially here.
But still if you think of land and problems not from the side of offences and historical traumas but in the context of the best possible future I hope you could think of better solutions rather than medieval in its essence goal to keep your own region for yourself only. Such an approach made sence when 95% percent of population were peasants who needed land to generate income. At the moment control over territories is more of a responsibility, which costs money. Besides, competition for land and regional influence generates losses in exchange for lives. At some point the states continued to play the same game not to increase the income but to make the competitor to have more losses than they themselves. So practically modern policy in your region is war at the costs of lives. And this approach of yours is THE SAME from the other side. Jews also want to have 'their region' to 'fight iranian hegemony' etc. In my opinion the very game of this doesn't make sense to play. At all. Of course it is extremely bad to lose in this game. And with time every side will inevitably lose on a long run. There should be a better future. It just must be.

 

Want a better army? Keep it out of nation building and military aggression. Keep it so that it ONLY defends this country, and morale will be excellent.

Yes, having been raised Christian, it's quite easy to see the hypocrisy and intolerance and hatred displayed by so many. And of course knowledge of the Crusades rather fills that out. Not to mention our invasion and destruction of muslim countries by our "Christian soldiers".

The moral of the US military is in the state it is because they realize they are basically war criminals and they have unbearable guilt about the things they do.

They go to other peoples countries and kill them to profit the military industrial complex, and steal their natural resources . Show me one place where the US military is showing force that does not have natural resources the US corporations want to exploit.

It is terrible what greed for money and power will do to the ordinary population. All these beautiful, promising young lives wasted in endless wars and their aftermaths. It would break my heart, if my five grandsons had to go to war for the US's invented wars, which are fought for nothing else but greed of the elite.
