So you're upset that Trump fired the most belligerent, warmongering idiot in the entire world? Really?

This is one of the few things Trump has done right. Arguably the best move of his entire presidency. Of course, if he hadn't hired Bolton in the first place, this wouldn't be necessary. Still, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Good riddance to that neocon piece of garbage.

Not remotely upset... I suspect it's a good thing long term... I'm just saying there is NOBODY walking alive on this planet who Trump trusts enough to take their advice other than another Trump...

And, I also laugh that Trump wouldn't allow Bolton to submit a formal resignation, as Bolton was reportedly willing to do... Nobody resigns from the Titanic, you must be thrown off or drown...

Bolton is a despicable human being. He deserves to be humiliated and disrespected.

But so is Trump... so who do you possibly root for (or against) in this head-to-head matchup of morons??

This is a scenario where I'm sad dueling to the death went out of style...

I root for any scenario where Bolton is disgraced, humiliated, discredited or otherwise treated in a manner befitting his villainous character.

Well, Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas all in one day!!

The only thing that might have been better for you is if Trump had sent Eric to fire him....

Who's next up on the chopping block (as NSA)? Somebody from the inside?? Can't imagine anybody from the outside would consider this...

Also... Irony Time - Flynn gets his sentencing date today - 12/18....

October 31st is the court hearing on the Brady information withheld from the defense. Also, it is now known that the FBI was investigating Flynn before 2016 and the FBI never gave a 'defensive briefing' to the Trump campaign which is standard procedure. Turns out they were investigating him previous to the Kislyak call and it was not the start of the investigation as has been testified. Lot's going on before 12/18.

LOL... so what... lying about that call is what he pleaded guilty to and that's what he's going to be sentenced on.... he's just dang lucky nobody treated those clearly seditious actions as Logan Act violations, like the administration considered was possible... I would have....

The Kislyak call was the start of the investigation of the Kislyak call...

Funny how I've been saying for years that Bolton was always against Trump's agenda and that Bolton needed to be fired immediately.

But did any of the Trump cultists listen? Nope. They just defended Trump's ineptitude like they always do.

And now that Trump's own words and actions have vindicated my position, will Trump cultists rethink their attitude? Definitely not.

They will just keep blindly following whatever Trump does, no matter how nonsensical, contradictory, or illogical.

    Bolton?

Just another IDIOT (who Trump scraped from the sludge at the bottom of the barrel).

Trump is starting to run out of IDIOTS to dredge up from the sludge.

As far as the NEXT National Security Advisor?

    With the Job Description being...

...Mindless Yes Man (or Woman) who wants to commit Career Suicide by associating with a Clueless Unprepared IMBECILE (presiding over the Biggest Trainwreck Administration in American History)...

^With that being the Job Description, it will be quite an exercise in Comic Relief watching what sort of Mindless Lemming that Trump scrapes out of the Bottom-of-the-Barrel Sludge.

    Donald Trump? :roflol:

Somebody named Charlie Kupperman is now the Acting (of course) NSA.... Never heard of him, but I expect his appointment comes with a suicide pill in a fake tooth...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Kupperman

There's a pic of him with Reagan, so he's be around for awhile... I ASSUME he's the one with the beard and not the baby?

Is this guy going to go for the Mooch record of 11 days serving?

Good riddance. I'm reluctant to say this is a "good" decision by Trump since Bolton belonged nowhere near a cabinet position in the first place, but at least he's gone now and the likelihood of another Middle East war decreases.

Speculation today, is that the Dirty Donald invitation of the Taliban to Camp David was the straw that broke the camels hump between Dirty Donald and Bolton.

I agree, if two people decide to consentually have a duel they should be allowed to. A notary being present should suffice.

Or a dozen cameras and Al Michaels to call the action... Even if Trump were to be killed in a duel, he'd figure out some way to make money off it it...

And of course, we'd have to thank our host, the Doral Resort and National Dueling Center....

That could be closer to the truth. I heard that someone in the US security blamed Trump for the ending of secret peace negotiations between the US government, Afghan government and the Taliban that have been taking place for a long time. ie if wasn't the invitation as such but the public announcement that peace talks were happening and now destroyed by Trump's interference.

Looks like there will be no war with Iran now.

And you had worked yourself up into such a frenzy of anticipation too.

Shame. Things just aren't going your way.

I sincerely hope that is the case.

Because Trump has brought us to the precipice of a hot war with Iran through his own incompetence.

This statement makes no sense at all.

VP Burr shot Alexander Hamilton dead in a duel (good riddance, but that's another story).

For his efforts he avoided prosecution but his career was ruined and he moved to Europe. It's easy to forget that Hamilton went along with this of his own accord and had the same chance of shooting Burr. But he didn't, he shot a tree.

Bringing back duels might therefore be the only way to get Trump to appreciate the EU single market and NATO - by having his political career ruined and having him move to Europe as a result of a successful duel with a particularly unimportant Democrat.

Fortunately, none of Trump's critics are particularly good marksmen.
