Maybe because this is not the, "Trump invited the Taliban to Camp David the eve of 9/11 thread"?

Feel free to start a new thread on the topic you want to discuss.

But Trump would claim Cake news because the Saudi royal family are his friends.

Simple - you stop it by ensuring that your ambassadors and staff are provided with the security they need to operate safely. You don't send them into an anarchic, jihadist-infested war zone with a security detail that is clearly inadequate for the job. To compound his error, the incompetent charlatan playing Commander in Chief on September 11, 2012 didn't deploy every military asset at his disposal to support the people who were attacked after he left them ass-out in an anarchic, jihadist-infested war zone.

Now that I've answered your question perhaps you would care to answer why the incompetent charlatan playing Commander in Chief on September 11, 2012 failed to fulfill his duties, enabling the first U.S. ambassador (along with three other Americans) to get killed in the line of duty since the Carter Administration?

Perhaps, this might provide a clue:

    Real "smart".

Then there's the question of why Obama & Co. repeatedly lied to the American people after the September 11, 2012 attack, but that's just another piece in the larger puzzle...

LOL, this post is legend. I am surprised you willingly make such a dumb statement solely to be mocked mercilessly.

When responding to serious posts, I tend to discuss seriously. When responding to trolls, I tend to troll back. I rarely if ever need to troll Egoboy or Gamewell, but there's a few others - *shrugs* The poster who was being deliberately obtuse that you are trying to get an answer to, I'm saying that THOSE answers are likely his own. Hey, he's free to prove me wrong. I agree that the Islamic terrorists were the most important part of 9/11, but what was his response? Protect the NYT with a strawman argument - well, WERE'NT airplanes part of 9/11? Lame - but it's all you'll get.

You won't get a serious answer from trolls. It's just best to laugh at them instead.

    That's best practice!

    Why do mention those posters?

Still waiting for a reply, but I'm not expecting anything REMOTELY sensible!

    Agreed!

Thanks. I mention them because there's plenty of posters I disagree with on nearly everything but they argue honestly and intelligently, and I thought a couple examples would be useful, I could name a dozen more off the top of my head but I'm off to work. I don't define a troll as someone I disagree with.

    What about their Egyptian ringleader?

Again, "Islamist" or "jihadist" would have been accurate...

Poorly worded and quickly wisely retracted... don't know what somebody was thinking, but this is certainly unworthy of a thread getting this many responses...

Would you have a problem with "18 years have passed since airplanes were aimed...."?

All the attackers weren't from that country...moreover they were not acting on behalf of the country...but on behalf of Al-Qaeda...additionally the person that planned the attack was from Pakistan

This is a Trump level idiot post. At least NYT has the sense to redact it.

Let’s rewrite some more history folks. Radical Islam had nothing to do with 9-11. Those planes flew themselves into the buildings. Some people might have been at the controls.

The NYT is such a rag now. How can anyone take that **** seriously?

Unfortunately for the Islamophobes at The New Duranty Times, they didn't have the sense not to publish that idiot post in the first place.

Well, the LW MSM's propaganda doesn't have to be factual, complete and accurate, and as we saw in that tweet, it doesn't even have to make sense.

How can progs take that sh*t seriously? Ideology.

18 years since Saudi Arabia sponsored and paid for the operation.... and the government used as an excuse for the fake wars that followed...

The Times is a reflection of the absence of rational thought prevalent both on the right and left.
