Self defense is a valid reason but most gun owners just like guns. Tyranny protection is a stretch.

 

No it was not obvious because I do and have always supported our right to own weapons. I just find those silly comparisons of well we should ban champaign bottles because people get shot with the cork to be foolish.

Never said to ban guns and I will legally resist giving mine up but I am not stupid or melodramatic and say "you will have to pry my cold dead fingers off the trigger to get my gun".. Some people may choose to die like that most will not.
