Yep, we already know, if it supports your position its an 'online poll' if utterly rejects your position its 'click bait'. Nah, nothing totally hypocritical about that, nothing at all...

So given the results of this poll, and that Democrats are in support of Beto O'Rourke's call to confiscate all guns. I would think the Democrats are going have about a 0% chance of making any gains in 2020. LOL

Still under the impression that it's a legitimate poll? You can vote on it as many times as you want, apparently, I've done so twice.

Looks like some 2A supporters can code.

The "Poll" is obviously a Complete JOKE (and everybody knows it).

    What is Next?

Twitter/Breitbart/Reddit RW Trolls promote an online ("everyone vote 1000 times") poll in which "90% of America believes" that Corey (5'6") Lewandowski could beat LeBron James in a game of One-on-One?:bored:

^Come to think of it, THAT would make More Sense than the Ludicrous "poll" in the OP.:smh:

Will the RW Obsession with their Bogeyman ("Big Bad MSNBC") ever subside?

    Of course.

Also, NOBODY actually believes that it is a "legit poll".

Plus open carry makes people nervous/ causes problems. That's why I never understood allowing open but not concealed. Safer w/ concealed IMO.

LMAO, are you really, with a straight face, saying the majority of MSNBC's audience are gun advocates? :roflol: What's next, are you going to tell us the majority of MSNBC's audience are conservatives? :roflol: Face it, MSNBC's audience is left-wingers/ liberals/ progressives/ Democrats.

I think that's what made me do a double take ---- an MSNBC poll which wasn't 99% opposed to guns. The poll first came to my attention when a "progressive" friend shared it on Facebook, and they were nearly apoplectic at the results. I clicked to see what the hysteria was about and was surprised to see a poll from such a left-leaning source with such unexpected results.

It's no secret I don't put much stock in polls, but I thought it might make for an interesting discussion.

Well it will for certain make it much easier to do a mass shooting.

Well given that the questions are so badly phrased that they are open to different opinions as to what is being asked. This poll is obviously amateur. Ans somebody should be able to provide a link to the actual poll and the procedures used.

For interest if this was a call in poll it has no validity at all.

Why don't you provide a link to the actual poll and how it was conducted, or do you know?

Why are you lying? Beto said nothing about confiscating ALL guns.

Sure, until Beto's remarks, we were all assured that the Gun grabbers weren't going to confiscate any guns.... oops!

Frightening! Three Masked Teens with Guns Shot Dead After Attempting to Rob Georgia Homeowner at 4 AM in Morning

They opened fire while still on the exterior, the lawfully armed citizen, with a semi-automatic rifle was able to dispatch all three, defending himself and his aged mother. So much for the claim that a semi-automatic rifle is not an effective self-defense weapon. For a longer shot, it's indefensible.

Do you know how the poll was conducted. And if it was a call in poll the sample size is meanin
Was it call in and pick one of the three? Or did they call out to a randomly selected group of peopke.

And link doesn't work to get to actual poll or how it was conducted. Most of this kind of poll is done by TV by putting three choices on the screen and then having people call in and pick an answer. Since the poll ended at 2 minutes before the half error. Or when the station goes to commercials seems obvious this was just a call in poll.

No you weren't assured that no guns would be confiscated with payment. You were assured that the proponents of rational gun policy was not going to confiscate all guns.

And Not a lot of people ever said semi- automatic rifles were not adequate for home defense just that they are even more adequate for mass shootings.

Polls predict the vote winner, not the electoral college winner.

I only know how they claim the poll was conducted. The numbers they claim make it impossible for it to be a call in poll. Your skepticism is reasonable since there was no Challenge Response program on the online poll. It could have been a bot for all we know.

I haven't read anywhere that a mass killing weapon wouldn't be good for self defense. Of course they are. So is a Browning automatic .12 ga or perhaps a Winchester model 94.

It was an internet poll of people browsing msnbc's website. I voted by clicking 'Yes - 2A'. No phonecalls were indicated to be part of the poll.

    Its an online poll.

Are you unable to click the link and see for yourself?

There is no Browning automatic sold as a civilian fire arm, it's a semi-automatic.

And yes, the common gun kit is a rifle, a pistol and a shotgun.
