Progressive trends - What's next?

I stopped calling those people progressives, or even liberals. They are leftists, socialists and generally in favor of big centralized government totalitarianism.

 

Yes, Leftist is indeed a much better label for them.

Next on their agenda is white genocide but only for males. The white women will be kept as new slaves under sharia law and anyone that disagrees is jailed for being islamaphobic.

 

Supporting the rights of minorities and tolerating 'deviancy' (technical, not pejorative) is not progressive. It's just sympathetic liberty and logically conducive to individualism.

Demanding that diversity and 'deviancy' be celebrated by socially mandated participation, however, is one great way to destabilize society, entrench cultural chaos and burn everything down so it can be drastically reordered.

 

Because there are people out there who view themselves as liberal, on many issues, but they are patriots, not US Constitution hating socialists. Liberals want personal freedoms, want immigration enforcement, and they don't agree with the everything is going to be free, mantra from the lunatic left.

 

The term Liberal has become so watered out and meaningless that nobody knows what is meant by it anymore. Especially in an American context where it seems as if it means "Social Democrat", whereas here in Europe, it still hold its, original, Lockean connotations.

Agreed. a liberal, a Democrat and a leftist, are not the same thing.

For example, labeling someone as a "conservative" has completely separate meanings, if you are referring to a person from the UK, the USA, or Egypt.

Even in the USA the generic term "conservative," could be referring to a religious conservative, a social conservative, an environmental conservative, or a Constitutional Conservative. All of these "conservatives" can have completely different, and even opposing views on the political issues.

However, it seems that leftists the world over, have the same objectives and beliefs, they are all anti-capitalist, big central government socialists.

 

Yup, the old "wouldn't it be great if government did XYZ," and who cares if it costs $20 trillion over just the first ten years. Liberal Utopian ideas are not rooted in reality, or common sense. If it makes you feel good talking about it, just do it

I’M STARTING TO THINK THEY KNOW VERY WELL ALL THEIR LIES AND CONS: How you can tell that Proggies know transgenderism is a con.

Progressives insist we all accept the mantra that a transgender woman is, in fact, a woman and that a transgender man is, in fact, a man.

But they don’t believe it. They don’t believe it in the same way that Obama, after spending years talking up climate change, bought a $15 million home in an area the climate change crowd assures us will be under water in a few years. They don’t believe it in the same way that anti-gun politicians and celebrities, the same ones who want to grab your guns, routinely pack their own or surround themselves with body guards.

How do we know Proggies don’t believe their transgender talk? We know because whenever a person with gender confusion pops up in the media, whether for having done something or having been victimized, that person will be described as a “trans woman” or a “trans man.” A case in point is a sad story about a recent murder:

If the Proggies really believed that a “trans woman is a woman,” why are they referring to the person as a “transgender woman”?

The media, which is almost entirely Leftist, and the Democrat political class, which is by definition Leftist, never talk about these people as “women” or “men.” They are always described as “trans.”

“Trans” means movement from here to there . . . as in moving from female to male or vice versa. The insistence on attaching that term to people who have made this movement is a recognition that they are not, in fact, the sexual destination to which they moved.

 

Well yes the politicians are just using this as a bludgeon to attack political rivals.

However there are people left in the meat grinder as a side effect.

Google the term Autogynophilia, particularly the controversy surrounding it.

 

It's fair to say that you have no idea what progressive really means.
But what's coming next is how our lives will change because of climate change.
We are also going to have to come to terms with equality in a diverse world.
I doubt that reactionaries will like what those changes will be.
I'm sure that the whole planet would like to live large like the Americans and western Europeans have been doing for the last 70 years, but unfortunately, that's not sustainable. And now that the children are finally on board with the issue and its urgency, they will accept those lifestyle changes more readily than the older ones set in their ways.
They are also seeing sexual and cultural diversity through the lens of equality and no one is prepared to sit at the back of the bus anymore like the good ole days when blacks, minorities and women knew their place and gays hid shamefully in their closets.
The times are changing.

I have great sympathy for those who feel that they are in the wrong body. I have sympathy for them when they suffer from anorexia. I have sympathy for them when they hate their own limbs so much they seek voluntary amputation. I have sympathy for them when they think they’re dragons, aliens, or bunny rabbits. And I have sympathy when they look down at breasts or penises and feel confusion and disgust. I can’t imagine how awful it must feel every day to wake up in the wrong skin, so to speak.

Sympathy, though, does not mean that I will accept that anorexics are fat, that voluntary amputees have “alien” limbs attached to them, or that someone is a dragon, alien, or bunny rabbit.

And I don't really mind going along with their gender id if it makes their difficult situation more bearable.
