Glad you mentioned that...but NOW it's bad because...well, because, bad orange man.

So why is it suddenly a bad thing? Democrats were all for it, until Trump.

 

Nobody is against border security. Both parties have voted for budgets including large allotments to build and repair border barriers for over half a century. However both Republicans who were in control of both houses for the first two years of Trumps administration and now the Democrats refuse to let Trump build a stupid monument to himself.

 

This makes no sense. first you tell me the wall has been being built for decades, but now when Trump wants to get it finished, it's suddenly "a stupid monument to himself"

Do you see the disconnect or do you just not want admit it?

I heard an interview yesterday with a border patrol agent who said border agents were being ambushed and attacked in one area and since the new section of wall, no assaults on agents in that area.

 

So 3 or 4 folks a day is ok

 

No there will not be a significant reduction in the long run. Can you substantiate the quarter million rate per month from a legitimate source?
Illegals come in by airplane and overstay visas. Illegals are not only comming in over the Mexican border.
The border has not been "secure" for at least 35 years. At 3 million a year that would mean that we have 105 millions illegals . Do you honestly believe that we have 105 million illegals here?

 

That us a rediculous attempt to equivocate. You must know that I am in favor of walls in the high density crossing areas such as San Diego. It works in places like that. If you ever read any of my posts you would know that I advocate increased patrols, more electronics, more drones, and in certain place razor wire fencing.

This stupid wall is nothing more than Trump's campaign promise which in nothing but aTV Con man's fraud on America that no Mexico will not pay for, we are paying. Then he steals funds from our military to build his wet dream.

Current liberal estimates are over $100B based on about 12 million illegals.....a number that has been used for decades. That's liberals doing the estimating. MIT, not exactly full of conservatives, estimated illegals to be upwards of 30 million. Living in Texas my entire life, having seen the invasion since the 80's, rest assured it's at least 30 million.

 

You do not even know who I am or who " you guys" are or who my candidates are. Ok I will play along with your game . At least none of my candidates or anyone I voted for POTUS every lied and claimed the Mexico ( or any other foreignkuntry) will pay for a campaign promise.

Foreign entities are not supposed to fund candidates campgns. You know that right?

 

So with Texas having a population of 29,000,000 you are c,aiming that there are more illegals here than there are in the state of Texas alone?
You based you figure on your observation in Texas what facts in Texas are you using to support your estimate of the number of illegals in the country? Obviously you are not saying that there are 30 million illegals in Teaxas are you?

 

Lefties don't make any sense when it comes to the border wall/fence/barrier.

If it's called a "wall" lefties go nuts. If it's called a "barrier" or "fence" they calm down a little. Nevermind the words are being used to describe the exact same damn structure.

When Presidents prior to Trump built "barriers", there was no hysteria. Now that Trump wants to improve and add barriers, it's a "vanity project". That doesn't make ANY sense. Zero, none at all.

When prior Presidents built "barriers" they had public support, and we can presume people acknowledged barriers can deter and/or slow down illegal migrants. Now that Trump wants to build bigger and better barriers, the left thinks folks are just going to hop over, dig under, or walk around. Pray tell, how does that make any sense? Why would today's illegals easily hop over, dig under, or walk around the wall, but you never worried about that with prior illegals?

Oh, and as far as the leftie argument about illegals "walking around" the barriers? That sounds like an argument for longer stretches of barriers.........

Then there's the hysteria about wall funding. Trump tried, and tried, and tried to get funding ---- your leftie politicians fought it every step of the way. (Remember "not one dollar" Pelosi?) So Trump had to outsmart the obstructionists and find funding elsewhere, since this after all really does constitute an emergency. Now mind you the lefties have never given two sh*ts about the military and harp endlessly about cutting military funding.....but when Trump uses some military funding for the wall? Suddenly lefties love the military, ROFL! God forbid we build one less --- what was it some leftie here was harping on? ---- one less military bowling alley. You can't make this sh*t up, ROFL.

I think the only reason the lefties are opposed to "the wall" is because they're afraid Trump will go down in history as the first President who actually had the balls to tackle illegal immigration on this scale. So they're going to fight it with every attack in their arsenal ---- nevermind how idiotic, contradictory, or illogical 99% of their criticisms are.....

 

Tell the clintons and their charity organization that coincidentally dried up.
