If your ideological dogma demands that you deny the broad spectrum of sources that cite the cumulative empirical data that results in the climatological consensus, including NASA, that is not surprising.

Geologists are also denounced - by the crackpots who insist the world was created on October 23, 4004 BC

And then, of course, there are also the flat-earthers.

Science can be repugnant to dogmatists when it wreaks havoc with their dogma.

Indeed. Since humans first evolved, mass migrations have been an integral aspect of their behavior.

The major displacements forced by anthropogenic climate change have already begun, and are expected to be enormous.

Climate Change Is Already Causing Mass Human Migration
[A]s the world continues to warm, it's expected that global climate change will become another factor driving people to move: to dodge coastal erosion and sea level rise, to follow changes in rainfall, to avoid strengthening storms. Climate change is already inducing marine animals to migrate, and according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change, it's starting to make people move, too.

    https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smar...ready-causing-mass-human-migration-180949530/

Climate Change Is Already Driving Mass Migration Around the Globe
Given the oversize role that migration plays in our current political discourse, you’d think there would be more emphasis on the one factor military and security experts believe will affect future migration patterns more than any other: climate change.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), a nonpartisan agency that analyzes and audits federal policy to ensure its efficiency and cost-effectiveness, isn’t going to let the topic go unaddressed.

The ideologues who are in denial of the science are being marginalized as the empirical data continues to confirm the reality.

I think it best if reputable scientific authorities and government agencies not waste too much time pandering to the few incapable of accepting the science. There is now ample evidence, and if the ideologues still can't deal with it, they probably never will be able to.

Let them believe that it is a "Chinese hoax!" if that is a tenet of their faith. The same goes for those whose notion that the world was created in 4004 BC precludes their accepting geological reality.

Perhaps, right after you pull your head out of the beach sand, you should make sure you know where your snorkel and mask are.

Yep because climate change affects white first world nations positively and third world nations negatively, it will be our moral responsibility to move every last 3rd world brown person to a white country. It will be nothing but cotton candy and rainbows....

Back here in actual reality, we kind of suspect that the mass migration of 3rd worlders to white countries is driven by greedy corporate elites looking to maximize their wealth and hasn't a damn thing to do with global climate change. Look at the off the chain population growth in Africa......... DAMN....... are we really expected to feed all of those people? Does it ever cross the liberal mind that perhaps there is a limit to the amount of freebies the west can handout to the rest of the world? One look at that chart is all you need to know that a mass starvation event is on the horizon and it hasn't a thing to do with global warming.

Why do you believe in man made climate change? One of the following?:

    1) You understand the science enough to verify the equations are correct?

    2) You believe that 97% scientists believe it?

    3) For political reasons?

Stupidity is not knowing the difference; thinking you are all knowing and others are "ignorant". Ignorant of your wisdom? Go back to Blah-Blah-Blah. It sounds smarter than when you try to sound logical.

The climate is constantly changing and always has. Weather is dynamic and effected by so many factors it is impossible to predict. The earth has swung between Ice Ages and warming periods its entire existence. Anyone who thinks the climate has ever been static, or believes they actually understand or can control the climate is a complete idiot and out of touch with reality.

Your citations get more ridiculous with every post. The idea that something "could happen" doesn't mean it is either likely or immediate. Hyperventilation about it isn't getting you any farther....

Across the broad spectrum of various scientific disciplines, I respect the expertise achieved through the scientific methodology of accumulating and analyzing objective, empirical data - achieving knowledge in an ongoing, continually self-corrective process. I don't pretend to possess superior knowledge, but derive what understanding I do have from that scholarship.

Were I hellbent upon clinging to some aberrant notion, e.g., the cosmological model that the earth is the center of the universe and the celestial spheres revolve about it, I would be required to reject science, of course.

    Deniers,

Try to overcome the ideological dogma that instructs you that climate change is a "Chinese hoax."

As difficult as it may be for you to accept, it isn't.

    Really.

When NASA confirms anthropogenic climate change, please don't shriek, "Those are the 'liberals' that faked the moon landing!"

Are you claiming that 97% of scientists believe that man is primarily responsible? That 97% believe that they can accurately forecast man's influence? That 97% believe that man can do something about it? If so, show me that study which shows this.

You have been lead down a road by the nose and don't even know it. If you would believe the hype, there is absolutely no question. Not based on some overwhelming evidence or that the vast majority of scientists believe it, but pure hype.

Your predictions about climate are as accurate as your presidential predictions - wrong.

Doomsdays that didn’t happen: Think tank compiles decades’ worth of dire climate predictions

The dire predictions, often repeated in the media, warned of a variety of impending disasters – famine, drought, an ice age, and even disappearing nations – if the world failed to act on climate change.

Doom and gloom. runforhills.gif Have any of these end of the world Algorist predictions come true?

Are there other scientific disciplines besides climatology where you are in denial of the scientific consensus?

Why does the ilk of deniers of anthropogenic climate change all espouse the same ideological beliefs?

Fake Don's crackpot explanation of climate change being a Chinese hoax is not even being promulgated with a straight face by his own regime.

He may be incapable of confronting the reality, and his worshippers may actually swallow such poppycock, but the reality remains the reality:

Stop pretending to give a crap about global warming. You guys are just using it as a tool to garner votes and you ****ing know it!
    This is a solvable problem

1 why do items in plastic have 100 more plastic then they need? Take a micro sd cards for example...they are less than a half inch big , yet the wrapping uses enough plastic to cover a Nintendo cartridge

2 telecommuting: the traffic on the roads could easily be cut in half if they would mandate that anyone who can work from home (most only need computer, home, internet) should work from home!

3 solar panels (assuming this wouldn't cause more fossil fuels being used for the production of them)...I'll need to research this more

Thats environment ideas I thought of in between taco farts
Face it, you guys care more about the fact that trump is a climate change denier than you actually care about the problem itself

So instead of solutions you just post a trump tweet? HOW VERY PRODUCTIVE OF YOU!
You should run for office because the lack of solutions in your thread would make you fit right in with the politicians

I care nothing for Houston, St. Louis or San Francisco.

More people should live in rural areas anyway.
