You have every right to your opinion as do I. When I say the Wall wil not orknthat is because Trump has 99.999999999999% of the time talked about only the Wall. He doubled down and lied that Mexico will pay for it.
For it. The wall. That is all that he c,aimed Mexico will pay so.m

Trump almost never talked about security at the border. It was and it always The Wall and Mexico will for it.

I have been saying all along that we need walks in the high density areas and San Diego is an example. We already have a Wall in San Diego. So do as I say and increase border agents, increase patrols, use more drones, use razor wire. Do not forget to increase the Coast Guard boats, aircraft and drones.

So you are sticking with your one trick pony show and accusing us rational smart people of not knowing what we are talking about" and not expanding your option?

Tunnels have been dug before. Not sure why you think it can’t be done anywhere else

    Great.

Let's make you dig a tunnel to get into your house instead of using a door.

See you and raise you. I know it's hard for you that the Chinese came up with it instead of the germans but that's an actual documented historical artifact.
Gunpowder was invented in China in the 9th century and the had cannons in addition to fireworks.

NO ONE IS SAYING ONLY A WALL We have an entire government agency which is in place to patrol the borders and to implement all the technology to assist that process. A physical barrier which is difficult to defeat is a very important part of that defense. It provides a very real and intimidating barrier which serves to demoralize people who would try to challenge it. The harder you make it for people to do something the less people will even attempt it. That is human nature.
In addition there are places along the border where Border Patrol are forbidden from patrolling because they have been designated "protected areas" by politicians using environmental laws to push the agenda of allowing illegal immigration. These areas many times have no barrier whatsoever, and are basically highways for immigration, smuggling, and illegal activities.

I was saying unless a wall is built pretty much surrounding the US then people will still find ways in.

We've all seen footage of the caravans. It would be infinitely harder ----bordering on impossibility---- for them to sneak in via boat, airplane, or the Canadian border.

I was just pointing out the flaw in your argument. It's all good! :)

    Oh it translated perfectly.

Since digging a hole to get into your house can be done, let's remove the door and have you tunnel in each time you want to get in.

I mean according to you it's basically the same thing.

Tax remittances going back to Mexico, next problem. Mexico has 27,000 troops on our border stopping caravans, at their expense.

That wall is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Wish I was going there too. Get you some of that green chili with warm buttered tortillas for breakfast and the rest of your day will always be better. The gold aspens up there are truly awesome!

If you go I highly recommend staying here: https://www.skitaos.com/lodging/blake

You can hardly throw a rock in NM without hitting a place selling red/green chile. :)

No meat no beans...just chili...I learned to ski in Taos when I was in my 30s with my 8 year old kid. We had a blast and still go out together with his kids....Thanks for tip on lodging. It’s probably a great deal at this time too before the snow. I stayed at one of the great ski in ski out places one summer. Had a couple mountain bikes and peeled down the hill to the lifts and up to the top. Then hit all the bars on the way down. We had a $300 a night luxury condo for about $75 bucks a night. New Mexico is truly the Land of Enchantment. Have a great time...Please post some pics of the Aspens if you get a chance.

What flaw? Tunnels are in fact possible to dig. Or do you deny it’s possible?

See my post earlier in this thread about the near uselessness of an unmanned wall, and how many people we would need to adequately patrol a 2,000 mile border.

Hahahahaha...it being “basically the same thing” is only in your head. Tunneling under a wall is out of desperation for needing to get on the other side where the person doesn’t belong. I belong in my house. That you think those are similar is alarming.
