    ‘Islam is RIGHT About Women’ flyers spark concern in Winchester

    WINCHESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - Residents in Winchester are debating free speech versus hate speech after flyers reading “Islam is RIGHT About Women” were found plastered around town.

    Anita Davison told 7NEWS that she was walking her child to school on Wednesday when saw the concerning flyers struck to street signs near the town’s center.

    Davison says she was alarmed by the sight of the flyers and immediately ripped them down.


    “Political climate at the moment, and all the things happening around the world, it just puts a little fear in you,” she said.

    What say you? Is Islam right about women? Is posting that they are hate speech, or is opposing the posters Islamophobia?

    These should be considered educational flyers - the more people know about Islam, the less and less attractive Islam will be.

    In the Trudie thread we had liberals defending racism, let's see if they defend the Islamic oppression of women.

    There are no women in power who are speaking out against the treatment of women in Islam. Instead they support radical islamists like Linda Sarsour. The fight is therefore left to women like Hirsi Ali, Brigitte Gabriel, and Wafa Sultan, among others. Men who do not speak out against this are, in my eyes, not genuine men.

    Isn't that the thing though? If you oppose the flyers, you're being Islamophobic. If you're FOR the flyers, you're sexist.

    I wouldn't worry about being called "Islamophobic". That's a positive for any fair minded person, if it's meant as being anti Islam. Being pro human rights is a far better position.

    As a person who belongs to the party who bows to Islam, you’re asking what part of Islam is right about women? Getting stoned in Denver has a different meaning to those who belong to the religion of peace.

    A story about a guy I never heard of from 2014? Has anyone in this or any other country around the world ever stone to death a woman who wasn’t a Muslim?

    only happens when the economy crashes and the fanatics take over, I hope this country stays a secular nation and never reaches that point again - 2014 wasn't that long ago, both religions have their fanatics
