I was making a comment on one thing and one thing only. You appeared to take light of the fact that there was an Obama painting in a polling place. Such an obvious political bias should never be present in any polling place. I have less objection to it being in a school than in a polling place.

There is no misinformation. Sorry, I don't even know what you are arguing about. You have constantly miscommunicated what I have stated several times. And if you don't like the story, then ignore it.

Yet another disingenuous mischaracterization duly noted and ignored for obvious reasons.

I do remember Vietnam, and thank you for your service. More than a few of my friends were killed or disabled because of that war. My best friend’s husband flies his POW flag every year.I was in college and we did our share of protesting it was a damn shame.

As for the kids, I agree 100%.

    Well .........................
Then it is I who should be thanking you. Do you have any idea how many lives you helped to save? We'll never know for sure but it could be millions. We didn't save many lives. We were sent over to take lives so it's good to know that you helped to stop it.

Trumpers who don't respect or follow the rules. What a shock.

Note that is doesn't say, "all North Carolina schools have a policy against displaying political signs, except trumpers. They are exempt from the rules."

Sorry unconstitutional abridgement of free speech. The rule is clearly unconstitutional.

Why? They can express thier opinion visually any where they choose except on school grounds. At School you can speak your mind to anyone who will listen you just can't carry a sign. You can't do it on any military base or any federal courthouse either.

The Kids are not employees. One can place restrictions on ones employees in one's business. How far you can go in limiting non employees is much more limited.

Well, actually, schools have a lot of control over students, for good or ill. Schools can censor the student newspaper, for instance. Minors just don’t have many rights.

I don't know about this school, but there were a lot of schools like the following that were indoctrinating our children with Obama songs...

no, it is not on public property set aside for a particular use. You can't walk around on base with a political sign. Whether you are a servicemen, government employee or a guest. You can carry a political sign anywhere that is publicly open for any general use by the public. Streets, sidewalks, parks etc. You can not carry political signs in places of public business, city hall, courthouses, schools, You can't even put a sign in your dorm room window at a public college in Mass. The bulletin boards in city buildings even have warnings not to post political signage.

however most of what I said can be contradicted by getting a parade permit.

Look, I don't know what state you live in, but here in Mass you cant have political signs on pubic property where business is conducted period. parks and the street fine, but no public buildings where the public business is conducted. Do you see political signs in the parking lot of your city hall or courthouse? NO.

And that picture WAS NOT taken at a game. They were just exercising their right of free speech.
