Saint Elizabeth is as far above Demon Donald that Michael is above Beelzebub.

    THE "ANGLO CULTURE" IN AMERICA

    Yes!

For a special class of American voters Donald Dork walks on water. He can do no wrong! With all that money, how can anyone do wrong?

It's obvious, look what a great-job he's done for America! He's alienated most all of Europe, pissed off China for no good reason whatsoever ...and it's amazing he did not unilaterally invade Mexico when the HofR told him to take his Great Wall and shove it.

What is truly sad factually is that:
*We have an electoral-system that negated the popular-vote and applied the Electoral-College vote that at the time (1812) was intended to give less populated southern-states more of a "voice" in deciding the presidency.
*Ditto gerrymandering that was "invented" in order to carve out voting districts according to desired voting patterns (in a uniquely two-party context).
*Which shows how disastrous a mechanism is our voting-law that was concocted when the country was only 6-years old, and the South refused to sign the constitution if it contained any definitive outlawing of slavery.

Don't believe that? See here: Slavery and the Constitution
    - excerpt:
(Meaning of "endowed": to furnish, as with some talent, faculty, or quality)

Does anyone really think today that "all men are created equally" disqualified women from that same freedom? And if not, why were blacks not "endowed" with freedom from the very beginning? Or female voting that only came in 1920? Because, like most things in America, "money comes first and foremost" and the southern states absolutely depended upon slaves for agricultural production (namely of cotton).

As for the Indians, we pushed them westward in order to confiscate their land until the government could corral them into tribal "camps". About their right to vote (from here):
Freedom comes in bits&pieces in America - IF you adopt the "Anglo culture". Whatever that means ...

You apparently don't really know the woman. Elizabeth is intelligent and in political discourse can take it as well as give it. Her responses are quick and inspired. She is fully capable of handling the position. (Her greatest challenge will be to find others at her level of ability. She cannot possibly do everything herself.)

The nature of Trump's win was purely accidental. That is, he lost the popular-vote - which is the only True Arbiter of a national election for a National Executive by a healthy-margin of 2%. And after a disastrous four-years of his presidency it is difficult to see how he could win reelection. But, then, with a electoral-system as haphazard as ours, anything can happen.

And finally, there has been a Warning Signal: A sign of dysfunctional-narcissism is occurrent when an individual repeats themself incessantly - which is what he is doing nowadays.

See here: Is Something Neurologically Wrong With Donald Trump? - excerpt:

Just because an individual has nothing better to do does not necessarily make them apt for the position of President ...

No, I am saying Warren is un-electable because she has given the opposition the issue to condemn her. The premise of my thread is the attempts by both parities to impeach elected officials, not criticize candidates. During an actual election all criticisms are fair ground. After the election, it is time to accept the results of the process and get on with business.

A President should never lie about their ethnic origins. About abusing power, about colluding with a foreign government to affect the elections, about witness tampering, about corrupt dealings with banks, about paying off porn stars, and so on... that's fine. But lying about their race... that's the big no no.

I wonder if there is a term for people who believe that "race" is a person's most important trait.... I think there's a term, but I can't quite remember.... Could you refresh my memory?

    Pure BS: "accept the results".

You don't seem to understand the results were a confection! Donald Dork LOST THE POPULAR-VOTE! Which in most nations is ample proof of any election. Sole Exception: The USofA!

Moreover, impeachment proceedings are well-worth considering as regards this PotUS.
Impeachment requires warranted evidence, and that is what they got with Donald Dork. Notably here: Trump Russia affair: Key questions answered - excerpt:

The man is sick, sick, sick. From Psychology Today (Sept. 2007): "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" - excerpt:
Enough is enough. This guy has got-to-go - he needs psychiatric help ...

I'm afraid you are missing the point. This is not about Trump's mental health, or the reasons why he won the election. This is not about anyone's level of intelligence, or how quick and inspiring they can spin platitudes and clichés. This is about electing the best candidate for the job as President of the US. We needs someone with positive social acumens, and the worldly insight, to put service above self. We need someone who has proven what they are willing to sacrifice for this country. We want someone whose integrity, honour, moral principles, and authenticity, cannot be questioned. We need someone who speaks in the language of "We the people..", not in the language of corporate America and academia. Finally, we need someone that will start a sea-change of social and foreign affairs reforms, to get us out of the mess this country is in. Elizabeth Warren fails in all of these areas. She has even lied to our faces(not accepting corporate contributions, the role of central banks, the bubble in the housing prices, the sub prime side show, and the role of mortgage lenders), and we dismiss them , just like the lies Trump tells. Maybe we are just destined to keep making the same mistakes.

Since I clearly do not know the woman personally, maybe you could address the specific issues I've raised about her policies, and her character? There are so many people caught up in the media's glitz and glamour, impressed by her animated passion, and "quick and inspired" rhetoric, that they refuse to see the lack of substance, relevance, and plausibility of her rhetoric. She is a law professor(bankruptcy), like Obama(constitutional). She knows what to say, and how to say it, to achieve her goals. There are many more specific policies of hers, that have not been thought through. Maybe you can point to just ONE policy of Tulsi, that you take exception to? Most people can't. They are just caught up in the media hype, and will mindlessly jump on the status quo bandwagon, without any critical thinking at all. Her media persona is not real, but our social and foreign problems are.

Trump won because corporate America, and Fox News Affiliates, wanted Trump to win. They filled the airway with Trump, ridiculed anyone who apposed their views, and increased their ratings as well. Even negative press helped Trump. No matter what he did, he was always in the headlines. No other candidate received this much attention. He won because the media got people to hate Hillary more than Trump. They turned him into the person that Washington would fear the most. Just like they are trying to do with Warren. Trump was the perfect choice for corporate America. And, other than Tulsi, or Bernie, there is no one that will prevent this from happening again in 2020. No one. There is only ONE issue that all other issues depend on. STOP ALL THESE FRICKIN WASTEFUL FOREIGN REGIME CHANGE WARS. STOP BULLYING SOVEREIGN COUNTRIES WITH CRIPPLING ECONOMIC SANCTIONS. USE THE TRILLIONS IN WAR DIVIDENDS TO ADDRESS OUR SOCIAL AND GLOBAL NEEDS. This is a no brainer.

All of the candidates are "capable" of being President. Trump has proven that even a narcissistic sociopathic failed businessman can become President. So the bar is already set pretty low. In either case, Warren would be destroyed in any debate with Trump. Do you really think that Trump would be engaging in any political discourse? Of course not. It would just be personal. Image is everything to a narcissistic sociopath. And, he has had over 60 years of practice. Warren would be limited by years of civility, logic, facts, and her personal image. Trump is not limited by any of these things. He is only interested in how bad he can make her look. Trump has the advantage of already being the President, a white male, and having a following of xenophobic fanatics. When he's finished browbeating her, she will come across as being, clueless, unassertive, frail, pompous, silly, neurotic, old, weak, and just another intellectual nerd that thinks they can be president. With Tulsi's military, foreign policy, combat, political, intelligence, youth, appearance, level of maturity, gravitas, and her command presence expertise, Trump would avoid debating her like the plague. The side by side contrast alone, would be devastating to Trump. All narcissists fear one thing, being exposed.

Tulsi is the only candidate that is overqualified to be president. The results of both debates should have clearly demonstrated, that no one is on her level. No one has demonstrated the same level of natural talent that she has. No other candidate is the single most threat to corporate America, the MIC, the FFI, the DNC donor pool, Big Pharma and Agra, Wall Street, Private Prisons, and the pay checks of the actors on corporate media. They are certainly not worried about another 70 year old, female corporate centrist, who tries to act like a progressive. Again, the decision is a no-brainer.

You can try to rationalize this all you want, but I doubt you will have much luck changing public opinions, and the laughable attempt to paint someone as a racist for calling out a liar, is about as ethically corrupt as it comes... But then I guess we must consider the source..

All politicians are criminals, if you doubt that, your political savvy is not what it should be. No politicians are uniter's, they are all tools of the globalist agenda. Their job is to divide and conquer. Their job is to keep you a wage slave for the .01%

that's not really a defense for Trump, it's trying to pretend it's ok for him to be as bad as he is

there are good and bad politicians, Trump is one of the worst as he only cares about himself, his very fragile ego is one of his worst flaws

as we saw with Obama though, it's not good enough to just have a good President, you also need a good Congress

It is reality, the last President who tried to stand up to the powers who actually run this country was Kennedy, and we all know how that worked out.

Agree with this. I'm on the left but accept that conservatives will be elected and accept that they and their supporters have positions they've thought out and have some validity, just as mine do. What works in a country is a mix of opinions and ideas. Homogeneity, especially if it's intolerant, benefits no one.

I would add that no party is completely right, or wrong. Both do good and both make mistakes. Pierre Trudeau (the current Canadian PM's father, a much brighter man) said once that a politician getting it right 50% of the time was doing pretty good, as all information to make a decision is unknown and all potential impacts of policy can't be predicted.

I would more compare Trump to Nixon... Trump is not standing for anything except his own ego

remember, I supported Trump in the beginning he could have been a good President, but his fragile ego won't let him

Its quite simple. Attack the issues not the people themselves. If their policies are so egregious, there is a plethora of material to work with.

Trump is no worse that Obama who was a war criminal and was in violation of international humanitarian law for his entire term. He is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths.

    THE GINI COEFFICIENT

You have your doubts and I have mine. That makes this place a "fair game".

I am on this forum to do just that - change people's opinions. Because those we have in the US are insufficient and income-wise unjust. We fixate on massive accumulation of riches and prize those who arrive with the largest amounts. Whilst those in the lower-middle and lowest end are just "also rans".

It should NOT BE THE PURPOSE of anyone's life to amass a huge amount of money simply to show how clever they are. We, the sheeple, are the necessary components of both Supply & Demand. We all deserve our fair-share - yes, based upon our individual capacities. Not equal-share, but fair-share.

And how do economists estimate that fair-share? By measuring Wealth-distribution unfairness. (By means of the Gini Coefficient.) The measurement is called "Income Disparity" (or Inequality). The lesser the Income Disparity, the higher is Income Fairness. Meaning that the share-out in Income is performed justly, equitably, impartially and without bias or prejudice.

Not EQUALLY as communism insisted, but fairly. Socialism exists nowhere in the world today since it meant that all the means of production were owned by the government. Which is not the case anywhere except North Korea. (Or China, but the Chinese are allowed to make a huge bundle of money and stash it away from governmental eyes.)

What does exist in the European Union and thus is the largest political gathering (513 million people) is Social Democracy.

Income Fairness aint happening in the US and it has never existed. We have one of the worst distributions of any developed country - as indicated in this OECD info-graphic here* ...

*The four countries with a worse Income Disparity than the US on that graphic are not comparable to America in any way.

You are overstating a truth. Yes, some of us - in fact most of us in the US - are deprived a "just wage". I wouldn't use the word "slave" because it is an exaggeration. Slaves were paid no wages. (Though they did make some money selling things.)

Our objective should be to break the wage-chain by instituting the right mechanism. And that "right mechanism" is called Education and more higher-end Income Taxation.

A postsecondary education will indeed lift job-seekers to a higher level of Income. Where they can live more decent lives. Which should become free as Hillary had promised to all families with incomes below $100K per year.

Our problem in America is our fixation upon the Holy Grail of becoming millionaires or, better yet, billionaires. So that we can impress others and (perhaps) be recognized on TV for our efforts. (Ask a psychiatrist what that is all about.)

Regardless, we are all at the same level when everything is finally said and done in our lives - but only then ...

    Ah!!! That was the word?

    Thanks!

In any case, you misunderstood. I would never ascribe that word to anybody for calling somebody a liar. I might consider ascribing it to somebody who thought that someone lying about their ethnic origin is more relevant in a presidential election than someone lying about their criminal activities.

More examples of why Elizabeth Warren is just Hillary Clinton 202. I suppose as long as lies sound good, then close enough is good enough.

I agree that Warren is without question the most intelligent Dem candidate. Caesar was one of the most intelligent Roman leaders. Intelligence doesn't necessarily make a good leader unless it is backed up with solid values, which in my view Warren doesn't have. Worse than that, she has the worst values of anyone in the field.

    Who says?

The popular vote has as much significance as the potato vote. It has no legal standing, never has, and very few developed countries use it to choose their head of state, for good reason.

Being over age 35, a natural born citizen, and someone who has won 270 EC votes is apt for the position of President. All of which fits Trump.

If you think I'm going to stop critiquing your views because you ignored me you've got another thing coming. I write for the readers, not you.
