Students around the world skip school to protest and demand action on climate change

The data is overwhelming. People living in the Arctic don't have to be told the climate is changing. They are living with the differences everyday as the Arctic warms 3 times the rate of the rest of the planet. I don't know how this level of denial still exists anymore.

I guess the fossil fuel funded denial machine is just so entrenched that people have a vested interest in repeating the same nonsense over and over. Changing opinion with the evidence means giving up a cherished belief system, I suppose.

I bet you think the millions of women writing slogans on cardboard for reproductive rights did nothing. Obviously you don’t understand the power of numbers and how a movement works. It's a well known fact women/girls are more emotional... science calls it estrogen and oxytocin... when mothers feed their babies their bodies produces oxytocin. The problem is Fox... you are fighting against and trying to change nature.. biology.

90% of climate changers are girls... check the crowds... and these movements run on pure emotion because overhauling the entire economy is not practical and once you manage to overcome your hormonal response to "OMG we're all going to die tomorrow" you'll be able to recognise that yelling screaming and destabilising your country is not a solution. Men commit more violent acts..I guess there is no emotion involved. There is no question that men and women react differently but a lot of that is socialization like boys aren’t allowed to cry. That is suppressed and probably why men die sooner than women

Yes it is an excellent educational experience like field trips are. It is empowering young people to learn their voices can be heard.I bet you thought all those kids in Florida protesting against mass shootings should not have had their voices heard. Yes there are definite biological reasons pros and cons but I don’t wanna hear that women are more violent because that’s ridiculous. Women are allowed to show emotions ..from early on boys are told not to cry. Go to a hockey game or a football game and you’ll see all the emotion that men show because they’re allowed. Women are allowed to cry. But yes, there are definite differences ...But boys are discouraged from showing emotions like women while women are encouraged to show emotions like men
