As they say in court, facts, not in evidence. Schiff for brains tried the same approach yesterday. Lying to congress is a serious offense. Even when democrats do it...

Dont you know the rules. Do what democrats say , not what they do . Or you will be investigated and accused of criminal acts.

This raises the stakes for Billy the Bagman. The Bagster has already erroneously conflated his decision to protect Don with his "nothing to see here" ruling of Don's legal exposure to soliciting election help from a foreign country with Congress' oversight responsibilities. He can make all the transparently protective judgments he wants as Don's personal attorney but he has no authority to decide what Congress should and should not see relative to their role as a check on abuses of executive power. He tried to keep Congress from learning about the WB complaint by laughably pretending the report of Don's activities broke no law. Now we know better.

He blew someone else's whistle stated things of which he had no first hand knowledge and made a report that as little as three months ago wouldn't have been permissible for that very reason. In short the report itself is not only unprecedented. But sets one hell of bad precedent and all but guarantees that even contractors who think they are getting a raw deal can file such a report in the future and bring official DC to a screeching halt for a few days.

The really funny part is that some of the **** Trump has done to try to restrict access to the conversation are more of a crime than the actual conversation. They actually loaded the original transscript of the call into a computer system reserved for classified documentation. It's a felony to misuse such servers to protect poitically sensitive, but not national security related information. So even if were determined that Trump did nothing wrong in the original phone call, he could still get in trouble for misuse of government servers.

A whistleblower who heard something from someone else!!! I would think the democrats would want to hear from the person who talked to the whistleblower. I would. To get the truth of the matter you have to go to source and then work out. I was an executive in a large company and anytime I got a complaint or malicious rumor I would go to the source. Usually within 2 hours I had interviewed all involved, sorted out the truth, and took appropriate action. Believe me, some of the people who brought forth a complaint were lying or mis-informed.

And the cover up is as bad as the initial act in this case
