Similar to the way it is in Canada where the provinces receive no federal money, the same should happen in the states.

In Canada if you elect a terrible premier you're screwed for the next 4-5 years. Same should happen in the US. No more states that make good decisions bailing out states that make poor decisions.

    Amendment XXVIII
Section 1- The states shall be completely financially independent from the federal government, and no money shall be taken from one state to give to any other state as aid, nor shall the people of the several states be taxed for legislation wherein the money will be used to benefit themselves or their state.

Section 2- Any state that needs federal assistance may be granted help, and until such time where the state can once again take care of all its needs and obligations without federal aid, shall lose all representation in the house, senate and their electors for president of the united states.

I think this amendment would be popular with both liberal and conservatives. It would greatly remove the federal government's power over the states, and it would decentralise the US economy making national recessions less likely.

The founders intended that those rights not delegated to the federal government be reserved to the states (and/or the people)

The EPA, Department of Education, Transportation, etc. all are nothing more than the federal government collecting taxes and then using the powers of these departments to get conformance from the states and gain power and control.

The feds are full in the rights to have these departments, but violate the constitution when they provide funding to the states.

The federal government is too strong. Exactly what our founders feared.

The liberals, Democrats, and progressive want the federal government to have more control over the states

Not just money, eliminate almost all of the Federal Government - esp the office of President.

It is far better to break up the country than to wait for a civil war. There is no reason for it. The South has wanted to secede since 1861 and most Blue States would gladly dump the liability of the red states, who contribute relatively little to the economy. I would bet 2/3 of the country would enthusiastically support legalizing secession.

I don't ever want to have pukes like trump or jeff sessions having ANYTHING to do with my country again. I would rather end American than live with the red state candidates. They are a fundamental and essential threat to liberty. And with my own eyes I saw a crowd of trumpers cheering for torture and the mass murder of innocent people. It was the single most disgusting spectacle I have ever witnessed in this once great country.

Most of all, trump has proven that the office of president is too dangerous to be allowed to exist.

Very few states have the resources to be financially independent. Most REPUBLICAN states borrow more from the federal government than they pay infederal taxes. These states would go backrupt within a few years if left without aid. (which is why I find it halarious for them to always threaten us with secession, Go ahead, we would be better off without having to hold up your shithole states)
