Are the only choices to let them die or give them their own country?

Seems that way doesnt it.. Of course If they truly just wanted part of Iraq as their own country why are they so focused on part of Syria and getting into it with Turkey ( not saying Turkey does not also share blame the region is a cluster **** afterall.

Nonsense! I'd like nothing better than to see Führer Erdogan and his mighty, mostly-Sunni, Turkish military fight to the DEATH with the insane ruling Shi'a priesthood in Iran, and its own much-vaunted armed forces!

You make the popcorn, and I'll get the beer! We're going to need a LOT of BOTH!

Erdogan likes the idea of exterminating the relatively powerless Kurdish people, and he's wanted to murder them all for a very long time. But if he has to fight Iran to do it, THEN let's see how courageous this 'scion' of Atatürk turns out to be....

Thanks for making my day!

Yet a week ago they were not being massacred. Seems there are more than 2 choices.

Then you have no idea the losses they took due to ISIS... How did ISIS form btw? Oh right by our actions in the area... Who did the Obama + McCain traitors back? Oh right "moderate" Jihadists who just kept joining up with ISIS after we armed them.. ooops.

We have no right to be there.
    We should not be there.

Well that was against the Byzantine Empire. Since WWI and WWII, nations are pretty much set now.

You do understand Iran does not border Turkey, but Iraq does.

Europe was in constant conflict from 2500 BCE to 1950 CE or about 4,450 years.

    So, what's your point?

You think you're better than them? Because you're not.

yes, is like they bought a car from us and we never delivered on, that is like stealing a car - we either owed them the weapons they paid us for or give their money back, it was their money

sanctions do not prevent someone from refunding their money, just meant we could not sell them the weapons

    No.

The existing muslim terrorist government executed a coup on the last government, and replaced them in the 1970's.

no they gained influence because Obama, using sofa as a cover, withdrew before we should have. They sofa could have easily been extended, but he chose to let it expire and used it as an excuse to leave. THAT is why ISIS was able to rise and why Iran was able to gain influence in the region.

Once we were there we should have stayed until the job was done. Obama used the expiring sofa as an excuse to withdraw early, allowing isis to rise and Iran to gain influence.

It would be important to know if our civilian and military intel gave any warning that ISIS was forming. Was ISIS already formed and did our Intel agencies know it and if they did did they inform Obama? If they did then Obama is guilty. If they did not then they are guilty.

You need to outline which steps of the job was not finished.

Plenty of choices. I do know this. Turkey is pissed off as hell. They have been housing millions of Syrian refugees while the EU who promised Turkey billions are paying much less than they promised. Turkey is not responsible for this mess, the West is. Turkey has indicated that either the West steps aside so that the Turkey can establish safe zones to return the Syrian refugees to or they will just kick out the Syrians so they can migrate to Europe. The EU has already refused to take back the terrorists that came from the EU so they will probably get released or murdered at some point. The end result of America staying in Syria for many more years would have to be a massive new influx of "diversity" to Europe. Allowing Turkey to take over should pretty much put a stop to that.

You know Turkey has taken in millions of refugees in Gulf War one and the Iraq invasion and now this horrible civil war in Syria...

He sure shut Trump down in the space of a phone call. Wonder how he did that? I mean, Trump was blowing loud about destroying Turkey's economy. You suppose it had something to do with Trump Tower in Istanbul?

Incirlik Air Base in Incirlik, Turkey. Incirlik Air Base is one of the major strategically located US military bases. The base is in Turkey, which means that it is operated by both the US and the Turkish governments, unlike other co-bases.

ALL the Kurds are not enemies of Turkey .. just the PKK..

You know the Turks sheltered thousands of Jews from France and Germany in the run up to WW2.

Why should Turkey or the Kurds pay for what Bashar Assad has done to Syria?

    Enjoy your popcorn.

    No it couldn't…

ISIS came out of Iraq as a result of Bush's invasion.

You mean used Iraq’s request as cover? They wanted to try our soldiers in Iraqi courts. Is that what you wanted?

Clinton promised to pay Turkey 100 million after Gulf War one when they had been inundated with Iraqi refugees. He never did.

Why should Turkey or the Kurds pay for the hell Assad has put everyone thru?
